Wonderful experience. The service is top notch. I had the burger and it had to be one of the best burgers I've ever had. Washed it down with a local beer that was fantastic.

Cool place inside, nice big, clean space, there was live music on a Friday- but it was too loud for the capacity as it wasn't too busy w the holiday (we were told) and a new band/artists in. Generally other patrons seemed friendly, everyone kinda looks at you like you're new, it's that niche type of small town place where you can build connection over time 💖 Electronic darts and slot machines available to play for purchase. No gluten free menu available, not a lot of options, but still found food! No english menu available we were told. My french is basic, so did my best, and kept inquiring until I found something! We sat at the bar, and generally enjoyed ourselves. Food was delicious. My male counterpart wasn't thrilled that the server swiftly gave him his beverages, but she repeatedly forgot about mine, yet continued to serve everyone else... this influenced our decision to not order any more beverages. I would still love to see this place in full swing once the summer's on!

We stay in Val Des Monts 2- 3 times a year and always visit the pub. The food is great, the atmosphere is friendly and the service is excellent. We tend to go on a Friday. If you want to just turn up and eat, get there early before the live music comes on as the pub gets busy then.
