Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. That entrée egg was something special. The best part was my beautiful server, Emily, she’s the nicest soul ever. I’d come again just for her. 10/10.

I came to Burgundy Lion after a concert at Beanfield Theatre. I was there with my friend and we order two drinks each. When I asked for another drink I was told I was cut off (even though I didn’t feel drunk at all). My friend asked for a drink and was also told she is cut off… the staff is unprofessional, the man who refused to serve us was VERY rude.

This pub is a hidden gem! THe food was fantastic! My husband and son truly enjoyed the bangers and mash! My husband said it was the second best hes had, and Gordon Ramsay was his number 1! The staff are so nice and attentive and personal! This place was BOOMING on a Tuesday night at 8pm! That should say a lot about this pub! We will for sure be back! As an added bonus, they did not have shellfish which made us feel safe with a severe allergy :D

Nice place for a brunch on a Sunday morning. I have been there before for a nice beer and a good burger. I like the atmosphere and the deco.

Awesome service from a gentleman behind the bar. He was tall, bald, and had the best customer service, attitude, and smile I've seen in a long time, and the burgers were bad too!

The service and atmosphere were really nice, and they offer an impressive selection of over 100 different whiskies along with some fabulous cocktails. Unfortunately, the beer selection was limited and food were very very mediocre. We ordered the entrée mix platter, fries (which were soggy), and the sticky toffee pudding and all of them were disappointing.

I'm a huge fan of the "bartender network." After a drink elsewhere, we showed them our path back to "home" and they said... Try the Burgandy Lion. If I was here for more days I would come back just for the scotch and whiskey collection. The staff have been amazingly snarky, sweet and fun. Honestly I feel like I found my people for at least a moment. The Quebec, Cirka old fashion was great and I really wish I had a big enough liver to do 20 more with all the different options.

Fantastic experience at Burgundy Lion! The fish and chips were absolutely spot on crispy batter, flaky fish, and perfect chips. What really made the visit stand out, though, was our waitress. She was super fast, incredibly friendly, and didn't miss a beat. Easily one of the best English pub experiences I've had in a while. Highly recommended!!

Went there to watch the Soccer with my 9 year old. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. The nice cold beer was a because bonus too. First bar I'll be visiting the next time I'm in Montreal.

I was recently at a trivia event (Quiz Master Brian) and ordered the Croque Madame afterwards. It was absolutely sensational and reminded me of the last meal I enjoyed there a few weeks earlier, the Tikka Masala. This in turn reminded me of the “Big Salad” dish I had a few months earlier, also fantastic. I’m not sure if this place is known for its food, but it should be! The chefs and bartenders (especially Jessica) are incredible. It’s no wonder why Burgundy Lion is always busy!

Nice venue. Good service. Linen and Silverware table service. Good and interesting selection of pub fare and favourites. Good beverage selection. Portions were sufficient. Something for every taste.

Went here for a private event. It was a great space to host a party. They offer fantastic service and the food was delicious. Highly reccomend
