Three stories of beautiful wood and leather decor, including a rooftop greenhouse-type of room with a glass ceiling. They have one of the finest scotch collections literally in the entire world. They have a whiskey sommelier on staff who helped me enjoy an incredible scotch based exactly on what I was looking for. Great little patio out front with lots of sun. They also conduct events, including tastings. I did not try the food, but I saw a tower of sliders go by that looked incredible. Staff were all smiles and efficient despite it being absolutely rammed in there.

I really wanted to give them 5 stars because the food is great and the ambience is good, but the service is the issue. This was my second time dining here, and unfortunately, the experience was similar to my first visit. During my first visit, the service was not great, but the manager did his best to improve my experience. One thing I wish the servers would do is check in after bringing the food to make sure everything is okay or to see if anything else is needed. I find that once the food is brought out, you have to keep looking around to get someone’s attention.

Had the fish and chips while watching a Man City game on the tele which we won, cheers to Leanne, Lian, she was awesome (I hope I spelt her name right) great atmosphere and great hospitality, COME ON YOU BLUES 🩵

I have been to this pub countless times from brunch (during Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding event), to lunch, to dinner and for drinks. Therefore, this spot is one of my favorite place. Throughout the years some staffs were amazing and some average. Foods and drinks are always awesome. The atmosphere is always vibrant.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had. That entrée egg was something special. The best part was my beautiful server, Emily, she’s the nicest soul ever. I’d come again just for her. 10/10.

I came to Burgundy Lion after a concert at Beanfield Theatre. I was there with my friend and we order two drinks each. When I asked for another drink I was told I was cut off (even though I didn’t feel drunk at all). My friend asked for a drink and was also told she is cut off… the staff is unprofessional, the man who refused to serve us was VERY rude.

This pub is a hidden gem! THe food was fantastic! My husband and son truly enjoyed the bangers and mash! My husband said it was the second best hes had, and Gordon Ramsay was his number 1! The staff are so nice and attentive and personal! This place was BOOMING on a Tuesday night at 8pm! That should say a lot about this pub! We will for sure be back! As an added bonus, they did not have shellfish which made us feel safe with a severe allergy :D

The service and atmosphere were really nice, and they offer an impressive selection of over 100 different whiskies along with some fabulous cocktails. Unfortunately, the beer selection was limited and food were very very mediocre. We ordered the entrée mix platter, fries (which were soggy), and the sticky toffee pudding and all of them were disappointing.
