Food is consistently, without a fail, disappointing. They should consider changing staff or whoever is responsible for the kitchen. Overpriced.
Reviews / Ratings for Pub Bishop & Bagg
For a pub, their beer selection is incredibly lackluster.
Tried this place, didn't have many drinks which I think from other reviews they specialize in so I am not a great judge of those. But I did try the food and it was alright. I had the fish and chips, the fish was very nice, a light crispy and flavourful batter. It was nicely cooked. But I felt like the portion of two small pieces a little lacking. The fries were middle of the road as well. Also had some appetizers, the chicken and the sauce was quite good, but quite pricey for what it was. The place looks really cool a nice esthetic but I was a little scared of falling because the seats were very wobbly.
Lovely people. Warm and welcoming pub. A Mile End must!
Nick gave me a tour de France and I never want to go home
I had heard so many great things about this place and was really looking forward to trying their salmon, but the night I visited they were offering a special menu for Australian Week. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and, unfortunately, it was disappointing. It looked more like two oval patties, possibly made with minced chicken, and the texture was very mushy. It didn’t resemble or taste like a traditional schnitzel at all. That said, the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Best selection of gin I've ever seen! Staff is super friendly:)
