Fantastic new brunch menu at Poutineville! Great food, excellent coffee, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe with a smiling staff. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The portions are more than generous (their breakfast poutines are easily for 2 and oh so yummm). Definitely coming back.
Reviews / Ratings for Poutineville Queen Mary
I was invited to a special launch event for Poutineville’s new brunch menu ahead of its official release on February 7, and it was a really nice experience. I’ve been coming to Poutineville for years with family, friends, and on casual dates, so being invited in this way felt special and not something I take for granted. My favorite dishes were the 3-meat breakfast poutine and the smoked salmon breakfast poutine… both made with their famous crushed potatoes and topped with eggs Benedict. Comforting, filling, and very on brand for them. You also can’t go wrong with a simply delicious Nutella French toast sandwich. What stood out most to me was the team behind it. The owners Anna and her husband as well as the poutineville franchise owner Kosta were present, along with his son, and they were genuinely kind and open to hearing feedback before launching the brunch menu. That level of care and openness meant a lot. I’m just a foodie who loves trying new spots and sharing my experiences. We weren’t super hungry, so we decided to share a poutine with crushed potatoes, braised beef, and red wine sauce—and it was amazing. The crushed potatoes were crispy and light, which was a nice change from regular fries, and the braised beef was so tender. The red wine sauce added such a rich, flavorful kick that brought everything together perfectly. The portion was just right for us to share, and we left feeling totally satisfied without being overly stuffed. The vibe was cozy and relaxed, and the service was friendly, even though it was a bit busy. It was a great choice for a low-key date, and I’ll definitely be back for more when I’m craving poutine. If you’re in Montreal and looking for a great spot to share a comforting meal, Poutineville is definitely worth checking out!
We just tried the new brunch menu. The breakfast poutines are delicious with the smashed potatoes. The breakfast sandwich was also very good, the pesto in it made it special. Service was nice and clean restaurant.
Poutineville on Queen Mary Road is an absolute must-visit and my go-to comfort food spot. I’ve been many times, and their poutines are consistently incredible. Sure, there are other places where you can get a poutine, but honestly, there is no better poutine than Poutineville’s. The fries are perfectly cooked, the gravy is rich and deeply satisfying, and the squeaky cheese curds are simply the best! The portions are extremely generous, and you never leave hungry. On top of that, the service is always warm, friendly, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It truly feels like a neighborhood favorite done right. I’ve even heard a rumour that a breakfast menu may be coming soon — including delicious homemade latkes! If that’s true, I’ll be there even more often. Highly recommended!
Poutine for lunch chez Poutineville Queen Mary. Size: Classic (S) ~$10.00 plus $2 for extra curds (see second picture). Large serving with leftovers for dinner. Tasty fries, fresh curds, and nice hot gravy. I love curds, so I asked for extra to be added and had enough leftover to bring home. We went around 11:15 (opens at 11:00); it was quiet, the service was fast, and our waitress was great. Will definitely go back 10/10.
