Ordered a Mexicana poutine and somehow got upgraded to a jalapeño mountain survival challenge documentary (didn’t ask for extra… or a lifetime supply). There were so many jalapeños I had to perform surgery just to find the fries underneath. Even the waitress took a picture like it was a rare wildlife sighting. Also asked for green onions… they must still be on their way. New cook? I believe it. Bold debut. (28/3/2026 20:00)

Food service was quick and good staff. Zoe (our waitress) made us feel at home and was super nice friendly helpful and great smile, (rare to see this in any restaurant nowadays. Poutines done very well and great big portions (ordered the bigger size poutines). Thanks for everything guys keep up the great work
Tried Poutineville and overall, it was a solid experience. The food was good definitely satisfying if you’re craving poutine but it didn’t quite have that standout “wow” factor that sets it apart from other spots. That said, the pricing was reasonable, which makes it an easy choice if you’re looking for something casual without breaking the bank. What really stood out was the service and ambiance, both were great and made the whole experience enjoyable.
Sorry to say I wasn't a big fan of the poutine that I ordered from Poutineville. I came here because I wanted to try a good poutine and figured a place with the word in its name would be the right place to go. I ordered the large montrealer poutine for takeout and it just really didn't hit the spot for me. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing but the flavour just wasn't really there for me, and the cheese wasn't as clumpy as I would have wanted it for a poutine. It felt a bit more "stew-like" to me. There is a chance that it might have tasted better if I had eaten it in the restaurant, but I was only a short 10 min walk away from my hotel. Staff working here all seemed pretty nice though, and they seem to get a lot of delivery orders.
Excellent variety of poutine, the China version topped with General Tao chicken was amazing!
Very standard poutineville experience. Portion was good, sauce was cold.
Great atmosphere, not long waiting . Food tastes good with big portions. The only complaint is that the Mac n cheese tastes like maple syrup.
Good food, big portions, Mac and cheese was very sweet
The Indian poutine is so mid
Great place. Sizes of poutine were great. Service was great
Loved the poutine (Hangover) and service was perfect.
Great customer service by Walid, came to have poutine today and his service was impeccable. Highly recommend
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to Zoe We had a great experience at Poutineville Bishop! We ordered a large classic poutine and honestly did not expect such a generous serving size, it was almost the size of a full steak plate. For $13, that’s amazing value. The real highlight of our visit was our server, Zoe. She was incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful. What impressed us most was that she was running the entire (and busy!) restaurant on her own with about ten tables, and she handled everything calmly and professionally. That kind of service deserves recognition. The classic poutine was satisfying and well made. Next time, we will definitely try one of the customized poutines: the menu has great options inspired by Canada, the US, Italy, and even Thailand 😊. Highly recommend if you’re in downtown Montreal and craving poutine.
I was expecting my poutine to be warmer, but burger was excellent. Seems like either the fries weren’t French and hot or the gravy was lukewarm.
The best poutine in town!
In my opinion best poutine in Montreal, does not taste processed but also very satisfying and comforting, good sized portions and very tasty
Being from the US, each time I visit Canada I enjoy a nice dish of poutine or two on my trip. So far this has been my favorite. So many choices and everything I tried was amazing. If you order the large be prepared, they aren't lying, it's a lot of food. Luckily a nice hike up to Mt Royal burned off most of the calories. The Montrealer was probably my favorite but it's hard to choose with options like the Hangover available as well. The service was great and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun, with hockey on at night and curling during the day when I dined.
Poutine was cold, asked for it to be warmed up which helped out but ultimately still wasn't great. Service was good though.
The vibes were so chill, just what we needed on late january vacation, lol. Our waitress was lovely, and the poutine was amazing! Highly recommend 🖤
Fries overcooked from the outside, and not cooked from the inside. Very disappointed i had high hopes, i ordered 2 sadly thrown!
