was visiting montreal and oh god i am so glad i came across this place. food is absolutely fire and service is amazing and friendly. the chicken and team here are rockstars!
after a long day of excursions, my group was hungry for some good food. we just went to google for possible places to get food. we landed on Poulet FOU et Frit because of the google reviews on here. Joel who helped us and gave recommendations was very friendly, thank you! It is very spacious and plenty of seating inside. we only did take out but next time will give eating in a go. we got the chicken, gravy, fries, and spaghetti. all was yummy and satisfying. as a big fried chicken fan, the chicken was cooked fresh and juicy, not dry and the crispy level was good.
So tasty chicken. Will come back soon.
Amazing food. 10 stars. The owner is an amazing guy. Chicken very tasty, crispy, well seasoned. The spaghetti with sauce is really good sauce. The bun bun, chicken sandwich with amazing ratio of pickles veggies and sauce. The desert with coconut, I forgot the name but it’s really good. Everything worth. Amazing. Truly deserve more than 5 stars.

Easily the best fried chicken and fries we’ve had in a long time. Crunchy, juicy, fresh, with that sage aroma and cooked in fresh oil like they were made with actual love. We’ll be back… probably sooner than we should.

This is a very popular and welcoming restaurant with incredibly warm service. Having worked in Africa and lived with Koreans, I found their fried chicken to be quite different from theirs. It's more oily and juicy, with the seasoning relying heavily on the external dipping sauce, and the batter and meat are relatively separate. If you prefer a milder flavor and want to try a different style of fried chicken, you should definitely check out this loving and welcoming shop! 👍

Such a great spot! My friend Munir and I visited Poulet FOU et Frit and had an amazing experience. The fried chicken was delicious, and the spaghetti was really good too, classic comfort food done right. The owners Cathy and Stan were incredibly welcoming and respectful and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The whole place has a nostalgic, homey vibe that makes you want to stay longer. We even ended up buying a comic book from them which made the visit even more memorable. Highly recommend this place, and big appreciation to Cathy and Stan for the hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

The owner was fighting with his wife from The Philippines while things were breaking while they were rearranging everything, so yes the chicken is bomb.
