Tried Poke Monster for the first time and decided to give a poke bowl a shot. I ordered the General Tao chicken bowl — the portion size was good, but unfortunately the flavor didn’t live up to expectations. The chicken tasted more like plain fried chicken rather than having that classic General Tao flavor. There was also a lot of red mayo (or some kind of dressing), which made the whole bowl feel greasy and overpowering. Overall, the dish lacked flavor and balance. On a positive note, the customer service was good. However, the food itself was disappointing, and I left feeling unsatisfied.
