We had been there in March for a 70th birthday party, the cost was 35$ per adult as advertised on their website. Each of us paid individually,on our way out. We enjoyed it. We thought it would be a great way to celebrate Mother’s Day with the extended family. So my partner reserved for 10 people, 8 adults and two children, 3 & 6. The week before, he received a text stating that the price per adult had been increased to 45$ and children 3-11 35$. ( It still says 35$ per adult on the website) On top of that, the message stated that one person had to pay for the entire group and that before entering the hall. I consider this to be taking advantage of the special occasion to overcharge customers. There was no special menu to justify the difference in price and there is no way justify charging 35$ per child for very young children , since they don’t eat a lot. Also obliging one person to pay and in advance, leaves them with a huge credit card charge and the hassle of having to collect from other members of the group. The food was good quality but not extraordinary and the service was acceptable. We will never go back, as we refuse to encourage a business that we feel has taken advantage of us.
