Stopped by for a quick trip Friday evening with the kids and it was exactly what we needed before dinner rush hit everywhere else. The play area near the food court kept my two entertained for a solid twenty minutes while we grabbed a bite, and honestly that alone is worth the visit. Parking right out front was easy even though the lot looked pretty full. Staff at a couple of the shops were patient with my youngest touching everything, which parents know is not a given.

Stopped by here Saturday afternoon while killing time between errands and ended up spending way more time than planned wandering the shops. Parking right out front made it an easy in and out, which I appreciated after a long week. Staff at a couple of the stores actually took the time to help me find sizes instead of just pointing and walking off, which felt rare these days. Grabbed a coffee and just sat people watching for a bit near the entrance, honestly a solid way to spend an afternoon in Saguenay.

Stopped by Place du Saguenay last Saturday afternoon while passing through the region, and it honestly surprised me for a regional mall. The food court was busier than I expected, and I found a solid poutine spot that reminded me of the kind of unpretentious local fare you rarely get in bigger city malls. The layout is easy to navigate, which I genuinely appreciate after spending time in those sprawling multi-level places that eat your whole day. Staff at a few of the shops were noticeably friendly and actually made eye contact, a small thing that goes a long way when you're just looking to grab something quick on the road.

Took my golden retriever Biscuit here last Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff were when we stopped near the main entrance. The covered parking area was a huge bonus since it gave us shade while I sorted out the leash situation before heading around the exterior. We mostly stuck to the outdoor areas along the perimeter where Biscuit could sniff around without bothering anyone inside. Honestly a solid spot if you have a dog and need to run errands nearby, way more relaxed than I expected for a busy mall.
