This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had in years. I’m surprised it has 4.5 on Google. To begin, I called in advance saying I’d need a high chair for a baby and when we arrived (2 families) a young busboy came to say there were no high chairs, only boosters, but my friends pointed out a high chair right at the next table and then he magically found one. We ordered 2 salads and after placing the order, we told the waiter to please put the nuts on the side bc we didn’t realize and there’s a nut allergy. He came back saying he would give the salad without nuts but not on the side bc the “chef was already pissed off” and it was clear he was afraid to “piss him off more”!! We ended up asking the manager for the pecans anyway bc the others wanted them and she gave them to us. The pizza took so long to come and we had 2 kids picking at one Caesar salad. The diavola pizza was ok but the pancetta was terrible. It had big fatty pieces of meat and the sauce was so bad - the whole thing tasted “wet.” We got a small kids penne dish with butter and parm and there was so much liquid (prob pasta water bc it wasn’t butter) at the bottom, it was gross! How do you mess up pasta with butter? The seating wasn’t comfortable and the place was loud and took long. Waiter was young and had such a bizarre attitude. I don’t think he even checked on us. Bad experience overall and disappointing to say the least.
