Perhaps my mistake was skipping the pizza—it didn’t look particularly appetizing to begin with. Instead, I decided to order a few appetizers: olives, octopus, and cauliflower. The olives arrived like some kind of broth, cooked alongside raw mushrooms and zucchini; the aftertaste was strong. The octopus, apparently seasoned with paprika, didn't go well with the chickpeas. The cauliflower was… okay. And somehow, even on a beautiful sunny afternoon, I left feeling unhappy.

Terrible customer service, being busy is no excuse for giving crappy service. Literally no greeting, long faces, no smile, it’s absolutely not worth your time. I would not be returning and neither should you.

First visit to Geppetto and we loved it. Great Italian selection and a variety of daily spécials. We will come back.

Had supper here last night with my wife and another couple. This place never disappoints; great value and food. Our waitress Sabrina was awesome as well

Had a reservation for 7:00 pm for my niece’s birthday. We got seated next to the windows that needed a serious caulking job as we could feel the cold wind from the cracks, needless to say in minus 30°c weather we were freezing. We put our scarves on the window sills. It’s not a big issue and an easy fix, the restaurant was nice and we were well seated. The waiter gave un 1 wine menu for a table of 20 people and when I asked for a second one I got a side eye lolll the waiter was so rude. We had to constantly be at the lookout for the him if we needed something cause there was no asking if we needed anything. This is a small restaurant and being able to get service shouldn’t be so hard. Finally we got our drinks 35 minutes later. I ordered a bloody Cesar thinking I would get a nice tall glass with a little more garnish that an olive and a small pepper, cause normally this is the largest drink on the menu in restaurants and I was disappointed when I got a small flute with mostly ice. Did it taste good? Yes. Was I worth 12$ hell no. 🤦🏼‍♀️ rest of the food was good but not worth the price, we got an antipasto for 2 people at 35$, not the greatest we had… my husband got bavette for 28$ he had at most 3oz of meat and a small side of stir fried veggies, 1/3 cup at most. I took the mushroom pasta it was good and the portion was ok as well. I asked for a coffee at the end of the dinner around 9pm and got it at 10 after asking for it multiple times, we got the bill and it cost us 160$. Was the food tasty? Yes, was it worth 160$ for what we got? No. To top it all off we couldn’t get paper bills for some reason and the interac machine wasn’t working 🤦🏼‍♀️ I don’t like to bash businesses with the economy we have but at the same time people work hard to go out and eat and they deserve to be at least comfortable and well served. Food is always debatable. Service was bad. I will not be going back.
