Went here during the F1 weekend. The restaurant was packed with over 20 people in line so I was expecting at least an hour long wait. I ordered take out and had my pizzas in exactly 15 minutes. Not only was the service incredible but the pizza was delicious! Definitely worth checking out.

10/10 pizza, if you love thin crust and love having multiple pizza toppings/options, it's a great place. Yummy pizza, great salad. Overall great place!!

Go early bcs there’s is a line (for a good reason) this restaurant feels like being back to Italy. They have multiple pizzas/calzones/ salads dont worry it comes with good pizza bread ! Food: amazing 100/10 light, authentic,generous Prices: 15-30$ Drinks:10-15$ Aperols on point they dont play! Atmosphere: 10/10 make ur reservation be on time A must try! Love it! Great to go for a date or with family!

We eat here every time we're in Montreal! Very popular and delicious spot. They have such original, yummy pizza, plus you can get lactose free cheese, which I did. Nice to have the option! Service is friendly, but does not hover. Tight quarters - get there early so you can get in, but if you can't I feel like the wait is worth it.

We’ve never been as disrespected as we were when we came today. We were sat for only 10 minutes waiting for 2 friends that were coming (told the waiter that they were coming in less than 5 minutes). He came at 12h05 when we arrived at 12h00 to tell us if we didn’t order in the next 5 minutes we would be forced to leave. We said we would order our pizzas while waiting for our friends and they told us we couldn’t keep our table because they “couldn’t lose their others customers” (elders who arrived after us and were complaining about not having a table while we had one). They said it was because of the restaurant policy but other tables were empty and other people (in their 50s and more) were waiting and weren’t thrown out so I think they thought they could tell us to leave because we’re in our 20s and “young” must mean “naive” for them. This was the most disrespectful experience in a restaurant we ever had, we’ll never come back but if you plan to go there be sure everyone is there so you’ll not be thrown out like we were.

We’re sorry to hear that your visit left you feeling disappointed, as our goal is always to make every guest feel welcome and ensure everyone has a positive experience at our restaurant. We would also like to provide some additional context regarding the situation. You arrived at 12:00 PM and advised our staff that the rest of your party would arrive shortly. Our normal policy is to seat guests only once the entire party is present. However, as a courtesy, we made an exception and seated you immediately based on your assurance that your friends would arrive within a few minutes. At approximately 12:13 PM, the remaining guests had still not arrived. By that time, the restaurant was fully occupied and there was a substantial lineup of waiting customers. Some guests waiting in line had also expressed frustration to our staff, as they were aware of the policy and questioned why an exception was being made. Our server then advised that if you wished to order, he would gladly move you and your guest to the adjacent table of 2 while waiting for your friends to arrive. At no point were you “thrown out” of the restaurant. The server also offered to accommodate your full party at the next available table once your friends arrived, and he took additional time out of the busy service to explain the situation respectfully as you were leaving. We would also like to clearly state that we do not discriminate against guests. Our policies are applied equally to everyone, and the decisions made that day were based solely on managing capacity fairly during a very busy service. We understand that this situation was frustrating, but our team was simply trying to balance fairness to all guests while still accommodating your group beyond our usual policy. Thank you 🍕

I got a volcano calzoni and it was great. But this was one of my weirdest pizza dining experiences because I couldn't help but notice that almost every single person around me was eating their pizza with a fork and knife.

Il Focolaio has the best pizza in town, hands down!!! Large selection of pizzas to choose from also.. Staff were very friendly and the service was very quick given the restaurant was super busy. The terrace outside is also beautiful to sit on , on a nice spring/summer day! Can’t wait to come back to Il Focolaio 🍕🇮🇹😊 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Delicious! My wife loves them all. As for me, their gluten-sensitive dough and their vegan cheese are just perfect... one of the best pizzas I can have. And the outside deck is lovely in the summer.

This place is really popular in Montreal, and for good reason. The only challenge is choosing from their wide variety of options, but every choice we made was absolutely delicious. Service was really friendly and fast too.
