What guests say about Pinnacle Wagyu Deli
The reviews are generally very positive about the steak sandwiches, cheesesteak, truffle fries, and steak frites dishes, with several customers finding the meat flavorful and well cooked. The service is often described as friendly and fast, but some mention waiting, a small space, and limited seating. A few criticisms also come up regarding consistency in cooking, the tenderness of the meat, and value for money, so it’s a spot people like, but not always consistently.

Loved this place! We had the Phillycheese steak sandwich and the Wagyu and truffle fries! Both were amazing. Passion fruit and Mango lemonade were also great! Will definitely go back to this gem in Old Mtl
Solid Cheesesteak.
Definitely worth trying out. The cook on the steak was perfect. Would recommend adding a little salt and pepper. Fries were good too. Would highly recommend sitting down and eating and not take out as the steak will get cold fast.
spilt the BBQ loaded fries and it was so good! we joked that there was more meat than fries (that’s a good thing to us lol). there’s few seats inside but we sat outside would recommend and go back again!
The Pinnacle Cheesesteak was delicious even without the cheese (lactose-intolerant)! Fries and limonade were great too! Will definitely go back
This is not wagyu
First off, I’d like to say that I enjoyed my experience at Pinnacle Wagyu Deli. I ordered the steak frites, and the quality of the steak was very good. My only disappointment was that I wasn’t asked how I wanted it cooked. The steak arrived medium to medium-well, whereas I normally prefer rare or medium-rare. The fries were quite tasty, and the sauce paired with them was excellent. However, the portion of sauce provided was a bit disappointing considering the amount of fries served I found myself running out well before finishing them. Overall, it’s a great spot with a lot of potential. The food quality is there, and with a few minor adjustments, such as asking customers for their preferred steak doneness and providing a larger sauce portion, the experience could be even better.
Wagyu is excellent!
My first experience was fairly average. The BBQ meat was good, but the baguette sandwiches, especially the porchetta, contained very little meat, which was a bit disappointing.
Delicious!
Good but not wow. Def not real wagyu…and fries don’t have real parmesan. Long wait time and overpriced.
Tried this spot for the first time today and it really delivered! The steak with truffle fries was one of the best I’ve had (even beating out some fancy steakhouses), and for 30$ total honestly I found it a pretty good value. I’ll definitely be back someday!
Got the cheesesteak and the Steak Frites when I went. Cheesesteak was sub par. Hard to eat (big chunks of steak), the flavour of the aioli and the flavour of the beef, cheese, and veggies clashed. I’ve had far better, far simpler and moderately cheaper cheesesteaks. Bread was fantastic. As for the steak frites, the beef was decent and the aioli was crazy good, but they only give you a stupidly small amount. I probably got 3-4 bites with the aioli. My main issue overall was that the beef was chewy for both orders. I thought that was odd for a place called Pinnacle Wagyu. Atmosphere and service was super duper. Overall, I won’t go back, but I wish them the best.
Delicious & Fair price!
Me and a buddy had this place on our list for quite some time. But wow, SUPER disappointed. Both of us found it VERY hard to believe this is wagyu meat. Had the Philly cheesteak, and the meat was not tender..... at..... all. Chewy, and tasted like an overcooked bavette. Aioli sauce not as flavorful as hoped, and a pinch of salt would have helped. For the price, I agree with others, tourist trap. The lemonade was ok though. For an amazing sandwich at a third the price, go to Kahwa Cafe or Lori Doner.
The food be so good i genuinely would order this for the next 40 years
Love the sandwiches and the Montreal Steak and Frites!!!! Im the middle of the action. Come around Canada Grand Prix and also Montreal Canadien for Hockey!
Amazing!!! I had wagyu steak frites, in which was the perfect combination of meat, fries, truffle and Parmesan. There was a generous amount of truffle on the fries and I could find chunks of it. 100% worth! Just try it out! (Sorry, it was too good and I did not have the opportunity to take a picture 😅)
The smash burger is very good. A solid option for a quick bite.
Must try the steak
unfortunately overhyped. i was super excited to come try this place, but unfortunately paid 90+ for barely seasoned steak. there’s very little seating place, a long waiting line and no washroom available. (i’d give 3 1/2 star overall) i’d recommend the other dishes, you can get better steak fries in montreal.
Super sweet super yummy cashiers were super nice food was peak. Thank u.
Best ‘poutine’ we had in the two weeks we spent in the province of Quebec. Would absolutely go back!
Great food! Will definitely go back! Great costumer service as well ! Had the wagyu and truffle fries 10/10
