unfortunately overhyped. i was super excited to come try this place, but unfortunately paid 90+ for barely seasoned steak. there’s very little seating place, a long waiting line and no washroom available. (i’d give 3 1/2 star overall) i’d recommend the other dishes, you can get better steak fries in montreal.

Super sweet super yummy cashiers were super nice food was peak. Thank u.
Best ‘poutine’ we had in the two weeks we spent in the province of Quebec. Would absolutely go back!
Great food! Will definitely go back! Great costumer service as well ! Had the wagyu and truffle fries 10/10
Loved the meat melts in your mouth cooked to perfection ! And the truffle fries yummm :)
Fantastic food , but no washrooms and find a better option for cutlery. That being said it was delicious!
We kept hearing some variation of “the best Wagyu deli in Montreal,” which immediately raised an important question: are there actually enough, or any, Wagyu delis in Montreal to make this a competitive category? (If so, genuinely, can the aforementioned influencers please enlighten me? I’m interested.) Anyway, setting aside the dramatic clickbait titles and glowing slow-motion steak videos, we skipped the famous Wagyu-and-fries situation (Steak Frites "On the Road"). Partly because I don’t particularly like fries 🤷♂️ and partly because I wanted a sandwich. Also, I'm not sure if it's there as a joke or for price anchoring, but the idea of a $150 Kobe steak option being on the menu of a mostly takeout sandwich counter raises many philosophical questions... Instead, we went with the Pinnacle Cheesesteak, which was apparently one of their most recommended items. First, if cheese was present, it was very subtle—we didn't taste it at all. What absolutely did show up was the steak. A lot of it. I definitely got my 20$ worth on that. You mostly taste beef, a vaguely savory sauce, and admittedly solid bread holding everything together pretty well. (Bread is important.) For what it is, it's alright. It’s well located for tourists and locals roaming around the historic area, the portions are good enough, and the pricing feels pretty aligned with other trendy sandwich spots in the city. No major complaints there. But does it live up to the hype? No, not even close. I think that says more about the marketing style than the food itself, though.
This place is great! I've had the Cheesesteak and the Animal Style fries, and haven't been disappointed. Plus, the ambiance and vibe is right up my alley. Don't forget to order the house lemonade, it will hit the spot with your meal 😁
seen this place on tiktok and wanted to try, it looks appealing so i went there with my boyfriend. The whole place smelled disgusting like greasy parmasean so i felt sceptical. My gut instinct was right, when i tried the steak it was CHEWY.. too chewy and it just taste bad, extremely over hyped. the only good this was the sauce.. not even the fries or the steak that i’ve been wanting to try.. very disappointed, save your money and don’t be like me and waste your money.
Best loaded fries ever and a FANTASTIC smash burger.
why do you have a number if you never answer on it? This restaurant is now based on ego after having the fame! to be avoided!
Amazing food! Place is a bit small and crowded, popular spot.
I tried their steak frites. It was really delicious. The fries had a nice seasoning on it and the meat was tender. I also tried their passion fruit lemonade which was quite refreshing. There are tables for you to sit and eat.
The best spot on the old port !!!
Very unprofessional service from the cashier. At first, he told me to wait 5 minutes. I said no problem and waited outside. After 5 minutes, I came back, and while speaking with him, more time passed. When I asked again if the order was ready, he said “another 5 minutes.” I pointed out that he had already said 5 minutes earlier, and now it was another 5 minutes, but he just tried to ignore me. I understand that during rush hour delays can happen, but making someone wait unnecessarily during peak time is not acceptable. He could have been honest from the beginning and said it would take longer, so I could plan accordingly. He ended up wasting around 10–12 minutes of my time during a busy period.
Finding a place like this in Old Montreal was truly a surprise. Honestly, everything was far beyond my expectations. The space is small but has a cozy atmosphere. The service was also quite fast. The prices are a bit high, but they’re definitely worth it for the quality. Overall, I was very satisfied. I will definitely come back.
Very delicious and tender wagyu!! The fries hit the spot as well:)
I enjoyed the taste of their steak, especially the fries. The steak was tender, but they didn’t ask about your preferred level of doneness. While the overall food quality was good, we were disappointed with the portion size and price. Another thing to consider is that they don’t serve you, and they use disposable plates. This might affect your decision on whether to tip. Finally, the utensils weren’t suitable for eating the steak or even the fries. The fork and knife were useless for either.
Exceptional. Worth the line and wait. Just the regular fries was kind of Mid.. otherwise Cheesesteak sandwich and burger were fire
Went on a friday night and the line up was very long - but for good reason! The food was absolutely delicious and service was fast once you placed your order. A little difficult to find a seat when busy but we managed. Delish!
We finally got to try Pinnacle Wagyu and we loved every bite. The steak and truffle fries are simple yet very packed with flavour 🤌🏻🤌🏻 Will definitely go back to try more items on the menu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I recently tried Pinnacle Wagyu and had a really great experience overall. I ordered the On the Road Wagyu and really enjoyed it. It wasn’t the most tender Wagyu I’ve had, but it was still incredibly flavorful and genuinely delicious, the taste definitely stood out. The truffle fries were also amazing and paired really well with the meal. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. There was a bit of a wait as the restaurant was quite busy, which is understandable given how popular it’s been getting online. I can definitely empathize with the staff; they handled everything professionally despite the rush. Overall, I was really impressed and would absolutely go back again soon !!
I got the Cheesesteak Wagyu and it was amazing ! A must try ! Service was good as well.
That one star is for the worst service ever . I drove from laval after work and arrived at 8h50 . The girl at the counter told me no more orders for tonight . I told her i drove for 50 min just to taste your food . Honestly i wouldnt come back to such a lousy service for free even
The waguy was very chewy and cut into super big pieces. We waited almost 20 minutes to get the order. The fries were good but I would not go back.
