Honestly, it’s rare that I write an okay review but the best thing here was the fries and house mayo. Service was quite slow (was not a busy day but maybe they were short staffed) food was just okay ✅ everything was missing seasoning in my opinion. Atmosphere is great, by the water which saves this place. I asked for a glass of ice and water and was forgotten for long Had while travelling, not many other options around. Pack a sandwich during your road trip here snd save your money or eat elsewhere.

Four long time friends came on a Tuesday evening for a great meal and conversation. The location was scenic with our balcony side location overlooking the North Hately end of Lac Massawippi. TheThai Fried calamari appetizer was tasty as shared by all. For our mains two shared the Porthouse Prime for two. The steak was great and was prepared with 2 different levels of doneness as requested. The potato millefeuille was a new a tasty vegetable side. Other entrees were the half rack of ribs and fish and chips. For dessert we shared two orders of mup pie a delicious chocolate ice cream pie with blueberry topping.

Lunch for 4 people was terrible. We’ve never experienced such poor food quality in any restaurant. 2 of us had fish and chips as it was suggested to be a popular item. The fish wasn’t fresh and was overcooked, dry and cold. The french fries were overcooked, cold and served dark brown to black. The tartare sauce was room temperature and served directly onto the plate beside the fish. The tuna dish was over-seared as well. The only item that was fresh and tasty was the ribs. Service was OK but not great. Over priced for the poor quality of food and overall experience. Our family choice for a get-together lunch was beyond disappointing. Saturday July 18 2026

Very disappointing, we arrived 4 hours before closing, were told they were not sitting any more customers for 15 minutes because of serving staff. After a 30 minute wait, were told that the wait was undetermined. We were refused a drink or just to wait at a table( many were empty). Many potential customers left. Obviously no administration was not present because they definitely lost a lot of money. Lack of respect for their clientele.

Food was really good (I had the Niçoise salad, my daughter had the fried chicken with curry dip, my partner the burger and salad). Beer menu is fairly limited. Service was initially a little slow. Took a while to get drink orders. Can’t beat the view from the upper deck!

They have a lot of rules, which makes it very unfriendly. We went for a drink, and we asked to seat at a specific table, and there was no one in the restaurant and they could not accommodate us not a place. I will come back to.

Our meal at Pilsen started out great, service was fast, food suggestions were great and drinks came out fast. We received our food and it was pretty good, pretty standard pub grub. We finished our meal and our server seemed to disappear. She was bartending and serving, we had to ask 3 times for our bill, waited 25 minutes with nothing and then had to walk up to her to pay. Really weird, considering everything had been normal up to getting our food. Not the worst spot but likely wouldn’t go back.

We arrived excited to try a restaurant in North Hatley, but the experience was beyond disappointing. We were seated promptly, which gave us hope—but that’s where the service ended. For over 30 minutes, we sat completely ignored while tables around us, who had arrived after us, were not only greeted but already had drinks and had placed their food orders. Meanwhile, we didn’t even receive a menu.

Went there due to the star ratings. The appetizers were good, calamari & Chicken bites. Asked the server what was popular, was told flank steak, ribs or burgers. Never order steaks in restaurants and was planning ribs for tomorrow so went for the burger. Was told home made, the burger came out cold. This means the burgers were made yesterday, last week or last month and just reheated, totally unexceptable. My son had the same meal but ate his ( he eats anything as his was cold also ). Sent ot back and requested nothing to replace it. As you can see in my previous reviews I review very kindly to restaurants but this is some place I will never visit again. Reheating precooked food is bottom of the barrel IMO. I can see why the place was almost empty. Great staff and location though
