Incredible food, fun atmosphere, dope playlist, & the friendliest service. The fried chicken was unbelievably delicious, as was literally everything else. Thank you Anna for the great service & neighborhood recommendations!
Reviews / Ratings for Piklìz
They managed to forget the shrimps in our shrimp bowl. Forgetting a topping is not the end of the world, but the main protein is unacceptable. There also wasn’t a sufficient amount of meat in my griot bowl, thus we were both left unsatisfied. I do not enjoy leaving dissatisfied reviews, but this is such a case where the disappointment exceeds my politeness.
Extremely friendly and warm staff. No peanuts served here is a plus for someone who is allergic.
As soon as I saw griot poutine on the menu, I knew I had to try this place! Loved how cozy and intimate Piklìz is. The servers are also amazing and gave us some great recommendations. Some of our standout faves were the kabrit and the griot poutine. The diri djon djon is also a must!! Definitely check this place out if you’re interested in trying Haitian cuisine and are in the Montreal area.
Pikliz saved my relationship with griot— the first time I tried the food here I decided give griot one last chance and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED. It is the tastiest juiciest griot I’ve ever had and I will keep coming back for more. Beyond that, every item on the menu is prepared to perfection so you can’t choose wrong. Not to mention the service and ambiance is warm and friendly making you feel like you’re on a sunny island even on the coldest winter day.
amazing food!! the pikliz bowl with shrimp had so much flavour and was a great portion for dinner. the shrimp were super tasty too, and resembled a panko-crust or tempura-style shrimp. amazing service and cozy vibe too!
Immaculate vibes, delicious drinks, and fantastic food…would give more stars if I could! Highly recommend.
Best Haitian Food in town, all the plates are worth trying you won't be disappointed! The place is clean, the portions are great, the food is so delicious. I'm definitely coming back with my whole family.
It was a great experience. It was impossible for the service to be perfect, so I appreciate every effort made to make sure we were satisfied. We will surely come again.
The atmosphere was great, and the server was friendly. I loved the wall art, and the service was good. But oh boy, I paid $27 + tax and tip for the “slow cooked” fried goat, and it was SO DRY it hurt to swallow. I should’ve brought it up to the waitress. Hoping the restaurant sees this because it’s so unfortunate.
1 plantain frlll?????
Food was amazing, staff was really kind!
So unsanitary here. Can't beleive I saw a worker that didn't use any gloves. Ridiculous. Cross contamination isn't a joke people
