Came in Monday morning for a quick coffee break and got served by Adrian who was incredibly nice and helpful. God knows I hate Monday mornings, but he helped make my day better.
i love coming here to study when i have a long break. i’ve gotten great service every time, and i love the matcha latte adrian makes !! i definitely recommend this place to everyone, it’s a great spot, super accessible by metro
I came last week and was greeted quickly by Adrian. He knew his job well and was able to help me choose something from the menu. He was able to balance/multitask while still being courteous and helpful. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was also very nice. Adrian is great!!
I was welcomed by the manager Adrian. Where do I start? He made me and my family feel so welcome and suggested delicious meals and drinks, while being aware of our allergies and restrictions to certain foods. He kept his smile and friendliness all throughout our time at pigeon. I was looking at him from afar, and I can say that he is deemed to be manager. Very skilled at his job and you can tell he loves it. Will come again thanks to the experience he gave me!
Big thanks to AJ (Adrian), served me magnificant shakshouka! 100% would recommend!
Love this place!!! I come here regularly and every time the service is good even during peak hours. The other day, I wanted to try something new and I was helped by Adrian. He was knowledgeable, patient and kind. He made sure to leave me, with all of my questions answered. I would definitely recommend this place for efficient service and yummy food!
Horrible service, slow and they dont know their stuff. Dont go if you are in a rush just to pick up a coffee.
Be carefull, the payment machine doesnt show the classic 15% tips, this is basically illegal now. Otherwise the place is good!
Ben and Olivia provided INCREDIBLE service. The food was impeccable and the atmosphere was unforgettable. Definitely will be returning.
This place is so bad I want to give them a 0, but I can’t so I give it a 1…where should I start. I went in a few days ago and was greeted by a man I’m assuming he was the manager, he was balding and clearly did not want to be there, not only was he rude to me but he was rude to his own staff members. The food was disgusting I could tell they really do not care or respect their customers as I found mold on one of the blueberries. Honestly I wouldn’t waste your time coming here, I have been a few times and everytime I notice major health violations. Food falling on the floor and the cooks just washing it and serving it to someone, ridiculous prices for food that has no flavour, workers being rude which is funny considering the only reason their in business is because of the customers. They clearly only care about making money not about providing a good service. If you wanted to eat food the same quality as dog food I’d just suggest going to a pet store.
The food was delish! French toast was light and full of flavour!!!!!!! Thank you Gabriel for the great attentive service The only con is that they do not have either lactose free or soy milk…..go figure🤷♀️
We came here for drinks and a mid day snack on a Saturday afternoon. Super cute ambiance and decor. Espresso martini was delicious! The Mediterranean dips were divine - only feedback we had was to include more pita bread since the proportion felt a little off compared to how much dips there was. But we were able to get extra servings afterwards which was appreciated!
They have a sign that says the world’s worst Coffee and it actually was. On top of it it was so weak we asked for a second shot and was charged $4.50 for one more shot for our latte.
I would give it a 3.5/5 to be honest. The service is fine (it can take a little bit too long sometimes to make an order). I did not try the food but I tried the coffee and to be honest it was average even though I had higher expectations. BUT either way the atmosphere is really incredible (I loved the wall paintings, lamps and the overall interior design; it is very well put together). Lastly, the staff are nice so it made it an enjoyable experience!
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and everything felt well organized. The food was definitely the highlight. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. The portions were generous, and you can tell they care about quality ingredients. I especially enjoyed the breakfast Sandwich and Shakshuka, which was cooked perfectly. Service was fast, and our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Prices were reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, I would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable dining experience.
I was hoping my experience would be different from what other people were saying, but it wasn't. Food is good, decor is nice; but the service takes forever. All steps of it, from being greeted and getting seated, to getting your drink, ordering food, and getting it. It took fifty minutes from finally getting a seat (we had a reservation and could see empty tables) to getting our drinks. The place has that reputation and it's well-deserved. I won't go back.
The food was decent, but didn’t feel fresh, falafel and bread were hard Overall fine, slightly expensive though
Cozy cafe, great coffee, and friendly staff. Perfect spot to relax!
I went for brunch with my friends and it was so delicious. Our server Lindsey was so sweet and charming. Even though it was busy we were sat really quick and the food also came out really fast. My gay friend loved all of the music they played. Thanks Lindsey so such a fun experience and service ! Me and your friends wish u the best with your masters!
I wish i had taken a photo of my plate. Overpriced for the quality Overpriced for the quantity We reserved for 6, they gave us a table for 4 and added 2 chairs making it crowded and uncomfortable. The service was only in english. Overall its a falling star, falsely hyped right now with not much to justify the hype.
Have been here for breakfast on a weekday. Beautiful decor, interesting breakfast options however service was slow as apparently they only had one server early in the morning. This can be unfavorable if you are on a tight schedule. However staff was polite and helpful. Music was a bit too loud for a breakfast place. Food was great, portion was good.
They charge a management fee, THEN taxes on that management fee, for e-gift cards purchased online! Will HAPPILY go to one of the other dozens of quality coffee shops that sell gift cards without management fees (I buy them regularly for work gifts). It's just gouging at a place that's already mid... Try Melk a block over instead.
A really lovely café with a warm and inviting feel. The aesthetic is beautiful, the croissants are buttery and perfectly baked, I love their pancakes and the staff are extremely friendly.
Brunch here is a treat. Very tasty, good portions for the prices. Staff are friendly and overall, its a cute location for both locals and tourists. Yes, we were the tourist and glad to have found our way here.
