A friend introduced me to this place, saying his mom comes here often and that it’s perfect for cold winter days. Honestly, he wasn’t wrong at all, this place really hit the spot for me. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and comforting, almost like a cozy neighborhood spot you’d want to come back to regularly. I ordered the Bún bò Huế, and while it wasn’t as spicy as I expected, the flavor was still really satisfying. It had that comforting, hearty quality that makes you feel instantly better, especially on a cold day. I just added a bit more sriracha, and that did the trick perfectly. The noodles were cooked well and had a good texture not too soft, not too firm. The broth was flavorful and comforting without being too heavy. The meat portion was decent and balanced well with the noodles and broth, which I appreciated. Everything came together nicely, and nothing felt lacking. One small detail I really liked was the tea being served in a simple water glass. It added to the homey, down-to-earth vibe of the place and made the experience feel more personal and relaxed rather than overly fancy. Overall, this spot definitely delivered. The food was comforting, satisfying, and exactly what I needed. I’d absolutely come back again, especially during the winter months.
