I was in town for a very short visit. I was biking to another place I found on Google and discovered this place on the way. I ordered the large Pho Dac Biet and it was one of the best I ever had anywhere in the world and it was massive! Price was about 16 Canadian dollars which is pretty good price. The broth was very tasty with a good balance of saltiness and the quality of meat was excellent too. I had only this dish and next day ordered the regular size and it was about 1 dollar and about 75 percent of the large. I also ordered some dessert of beans and some kind of creamy drink too. I ended up in Montreal on this trip for about 2 days and had only one meal a day as I had mostly fluids for the rest of the day. The parking situation downtown Montreal is actually now worse than in downtown Boston!!!

I have been to this place 4, 5 times over the past year, each time the food has been getting worse and worse. The only reason why I went back yesterday was because their broth is usually really hot, and it was a cold day, but the broth was lukewarm and the meat smelled. The service was at least always good and always with a smile when it's the lady who's there. But when she's not there it's zero service. I asked for some fresh peppers, and the gentlemen brought the peppers with his fingers. I mean I know it's not an expensive and cheap pho place, but it's still a restaurant there should be a minimum. There are loads of good pho places in Brossard, IMO this one will not last, and I will not go back.

I was a bit disappointed with the lack of flavour, I wish there was more than just hoisin and chili sauce at the table, some chili or pickled garlic would be a nice touch considering the broth was very light. The Viet coffee was also very mild. The che ba mau (three colour pudding) was good! I'm going to give it another try in the future because I was sick the day I ate here and it was a holiday so I might not have had the ideal experience.

Great portions and very good, especially for the reasonable prices. The atmosphere is cozy. Worth trying! Only complaint is that the beef in my pad Thai was a bit tough. To the owners if they read this: please consider replying to reviews on Google Maps! It could help saving some 1-stars 😁
