Great restaurant! My table had pork and chicken filets, with salad for appetizers, and cheese cake/baklava. Tasty, well spiced, generous portions, great presentation, well cooked as desired. Served appropriately quickly. Cappuccino and coffee were excellent. Prices are overall on the high end but also reflect the quality, freshness, portions, cooking art mastery that is served. The main part of my experience was with the staff, whom all participated in making this a great evening! Friendly and good sense of humor, professional, polite, very respectful! A real pleasure! Accessibility: Main entrance with double doors. No push button. The restaurant is large. The space between tables is okay for manual and power wheelchair. The staff is also always willing to give priority to accessibility and move tables for more space if needed. I would recommend to a mobility scooter user to ask for a spot to park, if possible, because it's not much possible to maneuver inside the restaurant with a scooter. Bathroom (women): Door has no push button and is relatively heavy. Very large accessible stall, allows power wheelchair to turn inside of it, with safety bar properly placed, toilet paper easy to access, nothing to block the space. The stall door opens as supposed, towards the outside. Total of 3 stalls, 1 of them being accessible. Sinks with access under, soap easily reachable. Bathroom impressively well adapted for accessibility! Well done! The staff is very respectful, helpful and seems used to have customers with disabilities. Thank you for the great experience!
Yes, it's noisy! We were there on a Saturday evening. Thank goodness we arrived at 5:30 and were nearly done by 7:30 because at that point we could not hear ourselves talk. Food was good, a bit pricey considering portion size (no greek rice, 1 potato, very small entrées). Service was good but when we asked for a twist cap to recap the wine (wasn't left on the table) the server pulled a cork out of his pocket and stuffed it in the bottle (ick!). Will not go back.
Philinos has officially claimed the crown as the West Island’s new premier dining destination. Bringing the legendary reputation of its Park Ave and Laval predecessors to Pointe-Claire, this spot perfectly blends upscale elegance with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The menu is a masterclass in Mediterranean simplicity. The charred octopus is arguably the best in Montreal, and the crispy zucchini and eggplant towers with thick tzatziki are absolute non-negotiables for the table. Whether you’re diving into their perfectly seasoned lamb chops or the buttery lemon potatoes, the quality of ingredients is evident in every bite. While the West Island has no shortage of Greek options, Philinos stands out by offering a more refined, "event-style" dining experience with impeccable service and a great wine list. If you're looking for the best meal on St-Jean Blvd right now, this is it just make sure to book a table in advance. Picso from the Park Location 😁
Great service, a la old ways. Where the server chats, engage and laughs with you. Had Small requests and our there was no problem accomodating us. Lamb chips were very good.
I've been twice. The grilled chicken and the fish were both exceptionally good. Very professional service. Fine delicious dining and friendly warm atmosphere.
