AVOID the KFC Verdun location (4086 Wellington St). I’ve had multiple bad experiences here—poor food quality, unpleasant taste and smell, and it often feels like the food is cooked in old, overused oil. I’ve even felt sick after eating here more than once, which is very concerning. On top of that, the manager and the assistant manager are consistently rude and unprofessional. They always keep gossiping and laughing while customers are waiting in the line for LONG period of time. Definitely one of the worst KFC locations in Montreal. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Ordered the Game Day bundle with the hot wings. Everything tasted perfectly fine at the time — crispy, spicy, no complaints. About eight hours later, though, my digestive system launched what can only be described as a full-scale rebellion. I spent the next hour in the bathroom fighting for my life and reconsidering every decision that led me to those wings. The hot wings were the only unusual thing I ate that day, so the timing is… highly suspicious. If the Game Day bundle is meant to simulate the emotional arc of a sports season — excitement, hope, and then complete devastation — then it absolutely nailed it. 10/10 flavour. 0/10 for the eight-hour delayed boss battle with my intestines.

Feb 27th, 2026, Tonight, we bought another bucket (2nd in two weeks) Nancy the assistant manager was as nice as Nelson was, served us with a smile! Still the best fried chicken in town! We only buy KFC from this Wellington Street location (we even travel to it), great people, clean establishment, always a great value for our money! Thanks to Nancy and Nelson! December 5th , 2025 Went to this location again tonight and WOW excellent crispy but center moist in every one. We have been to this location repeatedly. The fellow at the cash NELSON and all their staff are very friendly to all customers that came in while we were there. NOT ALL KFC ARE THE SAME, this one is a gem. EXCELLENT! Very friendly service, clean and bright restaurant but to be honest, I got sick right after eating their food and I think it's because maybe they're not changing their oil as frequently as other franchise restaurants. This is the first time I got sick from eating KFC.

I've been to this location many times and their chicken and offerings are always fresh, rarely stale and the chicken isn't tiny like some others I've been to, like the location in Lasalle. One thing I wish was their sauce beat a bit hotter so as to melt the cheese property, it's always luke warm at best. The staff always very friendly and on the ball esp the overnight staff. Whoever hired them did a great job choosing the people a lot of workers because it's overnight tend to slack off.
