Another fabulous meal at Petros Griffintown made even better and so wonderful by our favourite and most attentive server, Marino! The small Greek salad for two was so fresh and delicious, and our mains of Porgy and Mediterranean sea bass with fresh veg and potato side dishes, were both generous and simply superb! Besides all the wonderful food and great service, the ambiance was as always, truly warm and romantic! Undoubtedly, it’s the best Greek food in town! Amazing quality for value. The BYOB is an added great bonus! Looking forward to our next visit ! 😁

I had heard so many great things about Petros in Griffintown that I arrived with fairly high expectations. I’m happy to say the experience not only met them — it exceeded them. From the moment we sat down, everything about the evening felt thoughtfully executed. The cuisine is authentic Greek and Mediterranean, prepared with a refined, high-end touch. Every dish showcased remarkable freshness and balance. The appetizers were beautifully presented and full of flavor, the salad was vibrant and perfectly seasoned, and the highlight of the evening — the grilled fish — was absolutely outstanding. It was cooked to perfection and truly memorable. Service also deserves special mention. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and gracious throughout the meal, offering thoughtful recommendations and making the entire experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Another great advantage is that the restaurant is bring-your-own-wine, which adds a wonderful level of flexibility and enjoyment to the evening. Petros delivered an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. I will absolutely be returning and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for outstanding Mediterranean cuisine in Montreal.

It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be back! The food was authentic and delicious and the best Greek food I’ve had in Montreal! But the highlight of our night was Marinos hospitality !! Made our night very special :)

It's been a long time since I had such a tasteful dinner - incredible experience.And the discovery menu was generous enough to make 4 grown adults feel they had are too much!I keep this address for a special celebration.

Marino is a very kind man, he puts his all in to his service. The decor is lovely and the food is very good. The byob option is definitely a bonus. We will be back soon and ask for Marino once again!

I've been to this restaurant three times and quality has been dropping each and every time. Tonight I placed an order for pickup and they told me to be ready in 50 minutes. When I went in to pick up no one knew anything about my order and they literally told me to go ask the kitchen. The kitchen then told me my order was never prepared because they had tried to call me to let me know the item was unavailable. They never called me... No apology, nothing, we just walked out Place has gone down since new ownership, disorganized and food quality

Food : The price is a bit expensive (that's why it is 4/5) but the food is good, it was long since last time I did enjoy octopus as a lot of restaurant overcook it and it becomes chewy, this one was really good. Service : Finally a good service I'm willing to tip. Marino did recommend and advised me for the menu and what to pick. He was really welcoming ! Atmosphere : Well Marino again is the one responsible for that 5/5 note

Very disappointing experience at Petros Griffintown. Our server was extremely inattentive throughout the meal. The menu itself is also unclear and misleading. The “giant shrimp (6–8)” item reasonably implies 6–8 pieces, yet only 4 shrimp were served. When this was raised after the bill arrived for the 54$ shrimp, the waiter argued with us for about 15 minutes, insisting it referred to size rather than quantity—something that was never made clear on the menu. To make matters worse, the mussels in the seafood pasta were stale. When we notified the server, instead of replacing the dish, he simply removed two mussels and told us to continue eating the pasta. That response is unacceptable from both a food safety and service standpoint. Between misleading menu descriptions, poor service, and mishandling of a clearly flawed dish, this was a frustrating experience. We won’t be returning. To be fair the Greek sausages are good - this was our second visit.
