Marino is a very kind man, he puts his all in to his service. The decor is lovely and the food is very good. The byob option is definitely a bonus. We will be back soon and ask for Marino once again!

I've been to this restaurant three times and quality has been dropping each and every time. Tonight I placed an order for pickup and they told me to be ready in 50 minutes. When I went in to pick up no one knew anything about my order and they literally told me to go ask the kitchen. The kitchen then told me my order was never prepared because they had tried to call me to let me know the item was unavailable. They never called me... No apology, nothing, we just walked out Place has gone down since new ownership, disorganized and food quality

Food : The price is a bit expensive (that's why it is 4/5) but the food is good, it was long since last time I did enjoy octopus as a lot of restaurant overcook it and it becomes chewy, this one was really good. Service : Finally a good service I'm willing to tip. Marino did recommend and advised me for the menu and what to pick. He was really welcoming ! Atmosphere : Well Marino again is the one responsible for that 5/5 note

Very disappointing experience at Petros Griffintown. Our server was extremely inattentive throughout the meal. The menu itself is also unclear and misleading. The “giant shrimp (6–8)” item reasonably implies 6–8 pieces, yet only 4 shrimp were served. When this was raised after the bill arrived for the 54$ shrimp, the waiter argued with us for about 15 minutes, insisting it referred to size rather than quantity—something that was never made clear on the menu. To make matters worse, the mussels in the seafood pasta were stale. When we notified the server, instead of replacing the dish, he simply removed two mussels and told us to continue eating the pasta. That response is unacceptable from both a food safety and service standpoint. Between misleading menu descriptions, poor service, and mishandling of a clearly flawed dish, this was a frustrating experience. We won’t be returning. To be fair the Greek sausages are good - this was our second visit.

Marino was our waiter. This is only positive thing here. He is attentive and listen. He is abit in your face but in a charming fun way. I liked it. The food, quite disappointed in the price but most certainly the quality. When you pride yourself in having such great Greek food you need to have standard.. The kopinisti was so salty due to the lower class feta used. The Greek salad, the tomatoes were soggy and old with some kind of extra creamy "feta". Quite displeasing. For a fine Greek restaurant you cannot lower the standard so much on tomatoes and feta The meat tastes old and completely under spiced. The Lamb chops were ok. There was no lemon to add to our meat. The bread was stale and old. This was a first for me to be served stale bread. Take away everything Greek in the food and then server is as Greek food at a premium price We asked for the manager to explain to him our thought but it seemed he had left. I write this review so people can know and hopeful management listens and fixes their menu. It's a shame cause the decor and ambiance is good.

We made last minute reservations for dinner to this place and it was a great experience ! The restaurant is so well lit and makes you feel you are really in a Greek town thanks to the walls and the decor ❤️ For appetizers, they gave us incredible bread with olive oil/vinegar and we ordered the Spanakopita which was so delicious ❤️ For the main meal, I had the Surf and Turf (2 lamb chops & 2 shrimp) that came with Greek-style Potatoes and Vegetables of the Day while my partner had Moussaka and each bite was a gourmet’s delight 😍❤️ The service was fast and very kind in asking us if we liked the food frequently. Highly recommend this 11/10 Greek restaurant to everyone who loves great food, ambience, and the hospitality and we cannot wait to try other items on the menu on our subsequent visits 😊 UPDATE: Had Greek salad, tzatziki pita spread, filet mignon brochette , and chicken brochette and very delicious as ever ❤️ MORE UPDATES: Went for dinner and had the amazing Petros special (thinly breaded eggplant and zucchini with tzatziki), broiled cod, and Giovetsi (lamb shank) and really wow ❤️❤️ A wonderful 11/10 venue with great food and fantastic service

Wonderful place: atmosphere is amazing, service was perfect, and of course the food was delicious! Marino’s hospitality was very Greek, just how everyone likes it! Would definitely recommend the original Petros restaurant in Griffintown!
