We came back after 7 years to give them another chance. Fortunately this time the food was delicious. Everything was very fresh especially the fries and protein. The bread was amazing burgers were tasty and it was the same guy, but he was pleasant and polite and we had a very good experience this time. This was 7 years ago: The guy was neither at all nice nor patient with the customers. The food was not so bad (not very good either) but I didn’t like his attitude.

Clearly marked vegan options! I loved their borscht (ask to make vegan), it’s more of a cream soup than a typical chunky borscht. However, the flavour was amazing! Super comforting on a rainy evening. Their vegan poutine comes with tofu instead of cheese. I found tofu unnecessary, but my partner actually really liked it. The gravy is very tasty though! Staff were super nice and helped me navigate the menu. Limited seating at this location but if you can snag a spot, it’s a lovely small space with beautiful windows.

I just had the worst experience ever. This is unacceptable. The guy at the cash finished taking a girl’s order and started hitting on her for 10minutes instead of taking our order. Clearly he saw us waiting and ready to order yet ignored us and proceeded to talk to the girl and trying to charm her for 30 minutes whispering to her about coming next time for free food and stuff. Just not to tell the other workers. Very unprofessional. It happened today at 2:-20-2:30 pm. I used to come here every week at least twice now it’s finished.

It used to be my favourite place for a burger and poutine but they seem to have change their recipe. The hamburger was larger, but less flavourful and the poutine sauce was watery. I don’t know if this is to cut costs, but I am sad to see a change in the quality of the ingredients.

This place was such a wicked find. We were coming home around 1 am and saw that it was busy. Naturally we figured that meant it was good food, and we weren't disappointed. The burger was wicked for late night grub.

So good. Bacon cheeseburger and fries. Decent pricing ($15 for full meal). Hits the spot after a day of walking. Can't get in to get a smoked meat sandwich? Come here!

Tried the classic poutine as this is one of the best places to get it. Loved the decor in the place which gives it real character. As for the poutine, it s basically chips and gravy with cheese curds. Definately food after a few beers rather than a romantic table for two. I think there is no way you can get this wrong. There are other things on the menu but i d already eaten at schwatze s. Overall defo give it a go.....

One of a hidden spot to get some real good poutine. Food came quickly and everything was made fresh. Staff were very friendly. It was one of the best poutine I’ve ever tried. Will highly recommend :)

Tried authentic poutine here, it’s was good! Mozzarella was squeaky so you KNOW it was high quality. Sat in the window seat and had a nice view of the bustling downtown. Def recommend for some of that poutineeeee.

Great burger and really friendly service. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, don’t skip the brownie… I had mine with a glass of milk, and it hit perfectly. Honestly, I felt like a kid again.
