I recently visited Quebec city for a family vacation and we decided to take dinner in an Indian restaurant. Based on google ratings of 4.2, i assumed it might be a good or at least a satisfactory experience. I am from New Jersey and i have been to best to worse restaurants, but never had an experience like this one!! Read other one starred google reviews and i am amused to know that i had exactly same experience. Wait time to give an order was 20-30 mins, waited for the food for another 30-35 mins and the food was unpalatable, the butter chicken was watery and chicken looked undercooked, lamb rogan josh was also very bland and undercooked meat!! The tandoori roti was crispy like chips and when asked the attendant told us that its crispy and its normal. We are not eatinf indian dish for the first time in life!! Really disappointed with our experience
We wasted our money here, you dont please. Go to the nearest Subway and get a footlong, if you will not find anything — you’ll thank me later. 😂 Save your money and your appetite! 1 star for the server, he was very nice
Dont come here nothing at all taste like Indian food. paneer tikka masala and butter failed and taste like shit. Butter naan is a uncooked chewy bread hard to eat. Their timing is the only reason why people go their bcz they are open till late. Not worth it! Dont give a shot to try this restaurant!
We went here by searching on google and star but food was pathetic no test at all. We ordered mix veg it’s burnt, vegetables were not cooked and no spices at all, Also the dal tadka not have salt no test. It’s very bad test, if there is any star below I can give that

Ordered biriyani and tasted so bad. This is the wrong place to try if you are looking for a good indian restaurant. Would had given 0 rating if any option were there. One biriyani costs 30 dollar and the food received doesn't worth for even 10 dollar.
Review Very disappointing biryani. It didn’t really taste like biryani at all—it was more like potato curry gravy mixed into rice. The rice was overcooked, there were very few pieces of meat, and at $30, it was definitely overpriced. Expected much better quality and authentic biryani flavor for that price. Not worth the money.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food was terrible and smelled stale as soon as it arrived. The Naan and Roti were dry and tough, and the chicken curries were completely tasteless and undercooked. Very disappointing experience.
The lamb biryani was a complete disappointment: the rice was overcooked, soggy, and nearly inedible, and barely any lamb. Tasteless and poor quality, it was a waste of money. I would not recommend it or order from here again. Waited for 1 hr to get the food and paid $29.89 for the sh***y food.
We ordered beef, lamb and chicken biriyani... All of it tastes the same (which is shit**), and no salad or pickle served with it, very expensive and we need to wait 1.5 hrs to get it... Very bad customer service
I ordered food from them but the food was disgusting. Tandoori chicken was over cooked and stinks really bad and chinken biryaani taste was not good it did not even look like chicken biryani i will share the photo and who called this chicken biryani. I felt like they send all the left over to us.

This is a disgrace to Indians, it is so bad. First of all, the roti was raw. Not only that there were dying flies on the floor, there was also a dead fly on my seat which is very disgusting. The food also tasted very bad and my friend who went with me got food poisoning. The waiter is very nice but it took almost an HOUR to get our food. The toilets were actually decent and were clean, however for some reason the door handle was wet. Overall I would NOT recommend this restaurant at all. This is my first and last time stepping into this restaurant’s porch. Please don’t come here if you are hungry or else expect your appetite gone.
I don’t have much words for this. Absolutely terrible, dead flies on the floor…..on top of that the roti was half raw and i got food poisoning…. The staff was ok since there was only one person working. Conclusion: go at your own risk ⚠️
Our visit to this restaurant in Quebec City was honestly one of the worst Indian food experiences we’ve ever had. We went with a big group of ten people, excited because the online reviews, especially from our own community, made it sound like a must‑try spot. But the moment the food arrived, the disappointment hit hard. The dishes were undercooked, tasteless, and completely lacking the authenticity you expect from Indian cuisine. Nothing had proper seasoning, nothing had depth, and nothing resembled the flavours we grew up with. Even the basics were off, texture, aroma, spice balance, everything. It felt like someone tried to imitate Indian food without understanding even the fundamentals. What made it worse was that every single person at our table agreed the food was bad. This wasn’t a matter of personal preference or being “too picky.” Even my 3‑year‑old niece took one bite and said, “No good.” When a toddler can tell something is wrong, that says everything. The most frustrating part? The bogus reviews that led us there. It’s disappointing when our own community oversells a place instead of being truthful. Reviews matter. They guide families, groups, travellers, and people who genuinely want good food. Inflating ratings just misleads others and hurts everyone who spends their time and money based on those recommendations. For us, this place was a complete waste of money, time, and expectation. There was nothing redeeming about the food, the flavour, or the experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone — not even as a backup option. If you still choose to go, good luck, because we definitely won’t be returning.

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve visited! The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and authentic Indian spices in every bite. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Great food, great service, and a wonderful overall experience. Definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for sure! 🍛❤️
