The sandwich was unbelievably fresh, steaming hot in the basket. The crunch of the warm bread crust was met with a thin, pillowy inside and the bite of fresh ingredients. Nothing was overwhelming, everything perfectly balanced. Great first bite to eat in Montreal!

This is a true gem. When I asked the man at the counter which sandwich was the most popular he said “all of them” and I don’t have a hard time believing it. I got the mortadella and my bf had the porchetta and we were both very happy. One thing though : the plan was to eat 1/2 and keep the other half for after a hike but I couldn’t resist eating it all because was too good. and it made me a bit sick because of how much food it actually is. So if you are a smaller person, maybe pace yourself or share!

The bread, oh the bread!! It is soft and pillowy. The sandwiches are delicious — we got the meatball and the sausage one. Can’t recommend enough. The staff and owner are also a delight. Would come here all the time if I lived in Montreal.

The food was good, especially the bread—it was fresh and tasted great. Unfortunately, the owner seemed impatient and easily frustrated, which took away from the experience. I have always loved Italian restaurants for their warmth and hospitality, so I expected a more welcoming atmosphere here. Sadly, that wasn’t the case.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches. Not only is the food wonderful, the service is fantastic. The person working there was kind, charismatic, and even predicted that we needed napkins and brought us some. Highly recommend.

One of the best authentic Italian sandwiches you can get in Montreal. The star of the show is the fresh bread that they put each sandwich in. Get the picolo Italiano if you want something that's not too heavy. Great atmosphere too, feels like I'm in Italy !

Great sandwich. Simple and fresh. Got the Stella which has mortadella, arugula, pesto, tomato and bocconcini. Stop by if you’re around the area for a well executed sandwich.
