Great food, amazing service and great vibe!
The food and service were amazing. I went on a Saturday night and the ambiance and music was so much fun. I highly recommend.
Excellent spot, great vibe, delicious food!
Great food & great ambience!! Best sushi ever ! Highly recommended for any occasion !
Palma is one of the most stylish restaurants in Montreal. The atmosphere is vibrant, elegant, and perfect for a night out with friends or a date. The design of the restaurant is beautiful with a trendy vibe and great music that really sets the mood. The food was excellent — fresh ingredients, great presentation, and creative flavors. Some of the standout dishes were the crispy rice salmon and the rock shrimp, both absolutely delicious. The cocktails were also very well crafted. Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt upscale but still relaxed. It’s definitely a great spot if you want a fun dinner that can turn into a lively evening. Highly recommend Palma if you’re visiting Montreal or looking for a trendy place to dine.
I had a great experience at Palma in Griffintown. The sushi was very fresh and delicious, and everything was prepared really well. The music they were playing created a great atmosphere and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. After the restaurant hours, the place turns into a bar which is also very nice and lively. Overall, it’s a great spot in Montreal for good sushi, good music, and a fun vibe. I definitely recommend it.
Amazing food. Warm welcome.
Amazing atmosphere. Food is top notch especially the fresh sushi and all the dishes are great , a lot of variety . The chef showed me his aging process for steaks and it’s second to none. This place turns into a vibrant party after 10:00. I come here every time am in Montreal. Try it and you will not be disappointed.
Staff is great, food is awesome, great spot for a good dinner and night out !
Went with a group to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a reservation so we were seated right away. I strongly recommend you have a reservation. The service was great 👍 our server was helpful and gave us good suggestions. Pomegranate Martini and Passion fruit Martini were amazing. The food was delicious 😋 the whole table shared starters that were all very good. I especially loved the rock shrimp and the sliders. My husband had the salmon and said it was the best he'd had in a restaurant. I had the lamb, 4 pieces, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. A DJ was spinning great Music all night. There was a club vibe but the music was fun and brought a good vibe, not too loud that we could not talk, just right. I would recommend Palma and we will certainly be going back.
Nice place overall. The food is good, nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable. It can get quite crowded at times.
Good food, good tequila, good music, good time here
Best restaurant ever!
Really nice dinner!
Palma is officially a Griffintown favorite! The food is on another level of freshness, the crispy tuna is a unique must-try, and the filet mignon was incredibly tender. The highlight of our night was our waitress, Myriame. She is absolutely adorable and her service felt so warm and genuine. We’ll definitely be back and will be asking to sit in her section again!
I had dumplings and it was amazing! I will definitely go back to eat some more
Great food and excellent service!
The cocktails were really good — we had the Amaretto Sour and the Lychee Martini, and both were delicious. The appetizers were amazing, especially the lobster dumplings, which I highly recommend! For the main course, we chose the beef. It was a bit too spicy for my taste and not served as hot as I would have liked. As a side, I had the organic grilled vegetables and absolutely loved them. My friend chose the potatoes, and they were very good as well. For dessert, I had the cheesecake — it was good but a small portion. If I come back, I would definitely go for the seafood without hesitation. In my opinion, that seems to be their specialty!
2 Stars instead of 1 because Angeline our waitress was very pleasant to us. And what occurred was not her fault. Now I’ve been to Palma before for drinks and music, and the vibe is always great. Unfortunately, our birthday dinner experience was extremely disappointing. We (group of 3) had an 8:30 p.m. reservation and arrived on time, but our main course didn’t arrive until 10:30 p.m. a full two-hour wait. We received one appetizer early on, but the delay was so long that we had to order another just to get through the wait. By the time our tomahawk platter arrived, I had lost my appetite entirely. Eating a full meal that late wasn’t enjoyable and completely took away from what should have been a special evening. What should have been a joyful celebration turned into an exercise in patience, trying to stay in good spirits while waiting endlessly. Our waitress was apologetic and explained that the system had overbooked tables, yet there were empty tables throughout the night, which made the explanation hard to believe. The food itself was okay but underwhelming for the price entrées were better than the mains. The bill came to $800+, and we still left with half the food packed to go. As compensation, the only thing offered was removing a $15 cake-cutting fee, which felt almost insulting given the circumstances. For a restaurant at this price point, waiting two hours for food is unacceptable. Great vibe for drinks but book dinner at your own risk. Go drink and dance, for food eat somewhere else.
Great place, great atmosphere, amazing food!
Extremely unprofessional staff, coat check lost my jacket that had my car keys in it, i had to leave without a jacket in -30 degree weather. The manager, the coat check girl and the bouncers acted as if i had done something wrong, even though they were the ones that had given my jacket to the wrong person.
Nice Montreal restaurant Overall The food is good and the presentation is excellent The service is very friendly. Sabrina was pleasant and knowledgeable The only problem is the music being a little loud
Most unprofessional establishment in Montreal, horrible management team and awful care for their customers. Not worth the visit
Our experience was underwhelming at best. I got the lobster but would not recommend it. It is a lobster tempura so it is deep fried, and it was basically a mouthful of grease with little to no taste, litterally feeling the oil drip in your mouth when you bite into it. Might as well drink oil at this point, I could not finish it. While the presentation has a lot of panache, the taste and quantity were not there and I found the price ($69 plus tax) really steep for about 8 oily bites as nothing else is edible on the plate. You would need to order sides as the lobster does not come with anything else. I mentionned not liking the lobster to our waitress but that fell on deaf ears as she could not care less. My friends got some of their signature rolls which were good enough, the portions at least are satisfying. The alcohol free cocktails are practically the price of a coktail dowtown Montreal ($18). Beware of the automatic 18% gratuity that our waitress told us to add to if we wanted. This is our second time there and we won't be back.
