Berto has been long awaited, and it delivers. A chef and sommelier duo at the top of their craft, they offer not just a dinner but a full experience. One of the unique touches is their sharing of vinegar from a private solera—something relatively rare in Quebec—which speaks to the level of care behind every detail. The space is beautifully designed, including distinct dining areas and a 12-seat private room, creating an intimate and flexible atmosphere. The open pasta station adds to the experience, with fresh pasta made in-house daily in full view of guests. The menu offers strong value, with appetizers and mains generally in the $20–$40 range. I highly recommend the artichoke appetizer and any of the homemade pasta dishes. For wine pairing, ask Isabelle—she will guide you to pairings that elevate each plate perfectly.
