We wanted a restaurant within walking distance from our stay nearby , and Orexi Estiatorio gave us memorable evening. The atmosphere was relaxing yet upbeat and Peter our server was very attentive and enjoyable. You could tell the care and commitment was there in front and in the kitchen . We can only speak to our dishes which were cooked and seasoned to mouthwatering perfection . The grilled octopus , the lamp chops and chicken with lemon potatoes ! Bravo Orexi and the Amaro cocktail brought it home!

A wonderful find in Montreal’s Old Port area. The lamb shank is ‘fall off the bone’ and tender, and the half chicken is wonderfully juicy. The Orexi salad is a meal in itself with figs and prosciutto. Craft beer from Greece was fantastic. And to top it off, the service from Steve and the rest of the team was warm, inviting and attentive without being intrusive…there just when you need them. Perfect.

Five friends and I spent a magical evening here between the amazing food and incredible service and hospitality! We ordered a bunch of different dishes to share, so I can say with confidence that the food here is exceptional. The red pepper spread, moussaka croquettes, and lamb chops were my favorites. Excellent wine list. And the warmth of the people working there was just so special and welcoming.

Made a reservation online to celebrate a friend's birthday at the restaurant. Received a reminder and confirmation the day before. We showed up at the resrturant only to find it was closed. Called and left a message. It is now 8 hours later and still no call back. Very disappointing to put it mildly.

Really great experience at Orexi. The food was fresh, delicious and full of flavour. Excellent service too, super friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere and a place we would definitely come back to!

This place deserves more business! A friend suggested that I try it and I was not disappointed. The entire staff was super friendly, the restaurant is gorgeous, the vibe was great and most importantly all of the food was delicious. We had the starter special, the lamb chops and the grilled octopus and everything was perfect. We just couldn’t understand why it was nearly empty! Chic but unpretentious, a wonderful place to be. They treated us like family. Go!!!!

No pretending. Just the kind of meal that makes you stop talking for a moment after the first bite. Then does it again with the next plate. Orexi is back. And in a world obsessed with what’s new, it’s pretty damn good to be reminded that some things don’t need reinventing. They just need to be done right. Those who know, know. I was really craving authentic Greek food, and my friends recommended Orexi. From the moment I walked in, the elegant ambiance, warm welcome, and service were all WOW! Stavros really went above and beyond to help me choose exactly what I was craving. He listened to what I like and even encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and try something new: FISH! The octopus and fish were the perfect combo. I don’t even remember which type of fish it was, but it was from Greece, and with every bite, I felt like I had been transported right back there. The only problem now is that since Saturday, it’s ALL I’ve been thinking about! If you’re craving authentic Greek flavours and a mouth-watering menu, look no further. You’ve found your spot!!

Finding this spot was such a highlight of our trip to Montreal! The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all just amazing. It’s so hard to find Greek food this authentic, and it’s obvious how much the people here care about what they do. Our waiter Stavros was super helpful and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. It was a bit more pricey than we were hoping for, but the quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the service completely justify it. It was totally worth it, and we were so happy we found it!

What a wonderful dining experience! We had dinner at this restaurant last night and were absolutely charmed not only by the delicious food, but also by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner’s kindness and genuine hospitality were simply extraordinary. She has a beautiful way of making everyone feel comfortable and at home. You can truly feel the family spirit behind the restaurant, and that’s what makes this place so unique and special. The Greek salad was absolutely delicious, and the fish was cooked to perfection fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. It’s more than just a restaurant; it feels like a place where family, passion, and good food come together. A truly special experience that we highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back!

It was amazing. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. He went above and beyond for us. He even offered us complimentary appetizers and accommodated our request to switch seats. I ordered the lamb chops and my wife ordered the Mediterranean Sea bass. Both dishes were top notch and very flavourful. We highly recommend.

We had an amazing dinner at Orexi, and a huge part of what made the experience so special was our waiter, Steve! Steve was genuinely one of the best waiters we’ve ever had. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout the entire evening. He took the time to explain everything, patiently answered all of our questions, and even surprised us with a complimentary appetizer, which was such a thoughtful gesture. You could really tell that Steve cared about making sure we had a great experience. His service was exceptional from start to finish, and he truly went above and beyond. The food was amazing, but Steve’s hospitality made the evening unforgettable. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you, Steve, for making our dinner so special!

Great Greek restaurant in old Montreal. Service was very attentive. Lamb and fish dishes all across the menu. Food was full of flavor.

I was not keen on ever leaving a review. Anywhere. But tonight is an exception. My wife and I and our two children were strolling through the old port of montreal on holiday and wanted to have greek. Coming from the U.K, greek food, unless in greece is a hit or miss for us. Not tonight. We were welcomed by a cordial, warm staff. Our server, Steve, went above and beyond. We told him that we were in a rush and he got the message. He recommended this wonderful greek fish and the lamb chops and seeing I'm not a wine person, he paired it perfectly with a beer called mylos. The service and food recommended were perfect. I will make it a point to visit again once were back. And we will be back. As Steve said. Kali Orexi.
