Forget Robbies, this place is so much better. The beans are delicious, cooked perfectly. The mac and cheese is great, very cheesey and a generous portion is given. The pork belly burnt ends are delicious, fatty, and tender. The pasta salad is very good, it's creamy and not too acidic like a lot of other places. I highly recommend trying this place. +1 for playing Sepultura while I picked up my order

I’ve been trying all the BBQ spots I can find around Montreal, Laval, and the South Shore, and this weekend we decided to check out Old Haunt's BBQ. It’s primarily a takeout spot, though it looks like there’s outdoor seating in the summer based on the picnic tables. We wanted a good variety, so we ordered the Brisket Plate and the Ribs Plate, along with beans, mac and cheese, macaroni salad, and chili as sides. We also added a side order of pork belly burnt ends. Out of all the BBQ places I’ve tried so far, this was the only one where I genuinely enjoyed everything we ordered. I was also impressed with the portion sizes, it definitely felt like good value for the money. That said, the only downside was the lack of noticeable smoke flavour in the food, That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Still, I’d absolutely go back in the summer and give it another try.
