I’m very disappointed with the service I received today. I called the restaurant at 4:40 PM while I was at the mall to place a takeout order. The person who answered asked if I had a big order because they were closing at 5 PM. I said no — I only wanted to order four items: a rainbow sushi, an okana salad, and two tamago sushis with a special request to prepare them separately due to my daughter’s fish allergy. There was already a communication issue as the employee had difficulty understanding French, which made it hard to explain my order properly. When I tried to clarify the allergy request, she told me I was a “complicated customer,” said she couldn’t prepare my order, and then hung up on me. I want to mention that every other sushi restaurant I’ve been to has always agreed to prepare the sushi separately for my daughter because of her allergy. This is the first time I have ever been treated this way and spoken to with such disrespect. I made the effort to call and pick up directly at the mall instead of ordering through an app to support the restaurant, and this is the treatment I received. Very disappointing and unprofessional customer service.
