This place always hits the spot. Its hard to find Lebanese food that actually tastes like home. The staff is always nice and accommodating, food is well priced, especially for its location in the heart of centre ville. I got a cheese kaake A lhame be ajin Eggs with Sujuk Balila/hummus And a variety of manakeesh They were all well made and tasty. Recommend this spot for every Lebanese food lover. I come by every time I am in Montreal.
The bean dishes were so excessively sour that they were genuinely unpleasant! At the start of brunch, we politely explained that the lemon was overpowering every bean dish to the point of upsetting our stomachs. We were met with a sarcastic, “Ohhh, you must not like Lebanese then?!” and a judgmental stare. Out of the three bean dishes, she replaced the Fatteh with one slightly less acidic. Her attitude made us feel pretty annoyed and uncomfortable. Here’s where I’m about to get real with you : if the strategy is to purposely over acidify the food to discourage guests from consuming “too much” at your resto, that’s a cost-cutting business choice, but at least own it! Don’t call it “all you can eat brunch” while serving dishes that are borderline inedible and then try to make customers feel bad for hinting at replacements at the beginning of their brunch when you should feel ashamed to even serve such food in the first place! And please, trying to gaslight me as if I don’t know what Lebanese food is supposed to taste like? You’re saying that to someone who actually knows how to cook and understands the cuisine. I know the difference between bright acidity and total imbalance. When every bean dish tastes aggressively sour and one-note, that’s not Lebanese, that’s cheap execution. Also, trash talking your customers at the register because you assume they don’t understand the language is extremely unprofessional! It doesn’t protect your image, it reinforces the criticism I’m making here. I’m ashamed for your lack of shame and will not be returning. 2 stars because I’m a good person but just know you deserve 1.
Had the foul, Manaiish cheese and zatar. Eggs on a skillet and chicken and beef wraps. Everything fried m the service to price to taste was fantastic
Very welcoming and nice team.Fresh food fine new spot to discover.
Nice clean place and good vibes
Some of the best Middle Eastern food I've had since traveling in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Tunisia. Not a fancy or expensive place. Just great food at a great price!
The brunch is very convenient, and the food is excellent. It includes a good selection including manakish, fatteh, eggs, balila, and foul.
Very bad behavior not good service lazy start Not good packing always items is missing in orders
Worst service ever. Staff aren't kind. Taste isn't great. Don't recommend!!!
Amazing Delicious food Thank you 😊
A place that actually cares about its costumers 💜🌻 The turkey didn't taste so appealing to me, and i chose not to say anything but the gentleman who was working saw that i didn't finish it, he asked about the reason and offered me something else. Thank you ô four!
Tasty Lahmacun can be found here
I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but the experience was absolutely disappointing. The staff were rude and unhelpful, barely acknowledging us when we walked in, and there were no other customers. The person at the counter couldn’t explain anything on the menu, and the item we wanted was unavailable. The atmosphere felt completely unwelcoming. The food was bland and overpriced — two pieces of bread with no dip, overcooked eggs, and plain vegetables for over $17. The only decent item was the olives, which is honestly embarrassing for the price. When we asked for water, we were handed a paper cup to fill at what looked like a hand-washing sink — completely absurd and insulting. I can’t understand where the positive reviews came from. Based on what we experienced, it seems the owner has no intention of addressing these issues, and the restaurant appears to cater only to a specific crowd. This was by far the worst service and food I’ve encountered in Montreal. I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
