My second visit and I will return every trip to town. The duck confi poutine is perfect. Add the mushrooms. Great staff and lively atmosphere.

Fantastic experience at NYKS in Montreal. The vibe was relaxed and inviting, service was absolutely superb, and every dish delivered. The four cheese French onion soup was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. The NYKS classic poutine was exactly what you’d want—crispy fries, savory gravy, and perfectly melty cheese curds. The duck confit poutine took it to another level—decadent, flavorful, and worth every bite. Would absolutely come back next time I’m in Montreal.

I came here with my mother so she could try the poutine which was incredible. Our server Alex was the best!! She took incredible care of us and was very friendly. Will return next time I’m in Montreal!

This is a place where you can truly enjoy spending your time in. Spent a Friday night here with friends while visiting the city for the weekend and the hours flew by. Great drinks, friendly service, plus the most unique and delicious poutine you’ll ever come across. Definitely worth a visit when downtown

Fast service, great drinks, and wonderful atmosphere. The staff is always attentive. We had some really fancy out of the ordinary cocktail orders and the bartender made sure our drinks were just the way we wanted them. Also our waitress Amélie was really professional and on point with the delivery. We recommend them endlessly!

Nyk's is the best pub in Montreal! Excellent food and and even better service. They have the kindest staff and I always look forward to going there, it has a very welcoming atmosphere. The bar is open late at night and there are daily special items on the menu. It's a must visit when in Montreal!

Worst service I've ever experienced, the waiter was extremely disrespectful and food was absolutely awful. We didn't tip because we weren't looked after well and food quality was bad, and because we didn't tip the waiter talked to us and said "around here everyone tips so you should watch out when you don't".

Great food, you can go vegetarian, having something more classic, i.e. boudin sausage, or do a burger, or, in my case, a poutine. Nyks also has a great choice of beer on tap, with en emphasis on local brews. Service is quite excellent, even when the place is packed, which is at lunchtime (they do reservations) and for dinner.

Good atmosphere, good energy and good food. The staff were working hard and moving quickly but I felt that they were a bit understaffed as it was difficult at times to get the attention of my server. I would still recommend and return though.

Great food and an excellent menu. The beef tartare was excellent, accompanied by a perfectly seasoned salad and fries. Really easy to talk to people round the bar and the staff. Has a new york vibe about it. I d strongly recommend.

We had a reservation but were turned away as we didn't have id for our 18 year old daughter and were never asked beforehand. Maybe they should state this on the website beforehand. Very disappointing!

They refused to seat as we came in with, a 12, 13, and 14 year old. These children are well behaved and enjoy food. Very disappointing experience

We stopped in here on a whim after walking the streets and browsing the stores. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly, it was however a little noisy, but it was almost 10 pm and there’s was a younger crowd starting fill the place. Definitely recommend

Great food. Got the 4 cheese French onion soup, and a couple of beers. Recommend stopping in. Keep hear the duck poutine is delicious!
