Really good.
Reviews / Ratings for Nouilles Zhonghua - Chinese Noodles - Cold Noodle Xi'an - Chinese Hamburger - Delivery
A hot spot for McGill students, locals, and tourists! Nouilles Zhonghua is an incredible hole in the wall restaurant serving authentic hand-pulled noodles. In typical fashion, you can watch the expert craftsmanship of your noodles and various dishes live. The interior is really small, so don’t be surprised when you’re seated directly next to strangers. The menu doesn’t have too many different options, but I’m sure you can’t go wrong with anything based on what we had. We got the beef noodle with Chinese pickled cabbage and two Chinese hamburgers. The food comes out rapidly and steaming hot. We just got the thinnest noodle style (mo xi), but you are able to choose up to seven different styles. The noodles were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of bite and chewiness. There was a good amount of beef and pickled veggies all imbibed with the hearty stew. The Chinese hamburgers were also very tasty. The buns were crispy and filled to the brim with savory, juicy pork meat. Nouilles Zhonghua is the perfect place for a cold day and a quick, no-frills meal!
Cash/Debit only. The oil spill noodles is very good 😊 and the spice was perfect. Chewy noodle and crunchy vegetables. The only downside side is that it's a pretty small space with few seating, so if you're eating inside, you might end up sharing a tables with strangers. The stranger in front of me was a messy eater.
Oil spill noodles were so good!
Good food and suprisingly fast service.
Even if eating inside is fine, do NOT order takeout from this place. The store was very small and completely packed with people, so I decided to order takeout instead. Less than a minute after I received my food and walked out, everything started leaking inside the bag. The paper bag completely tore apart and all the food spilled onto the ground. As a result, my shoes, clothes, and bag are all stained. I couldn’t even eat the food. When I checked, the container with the soup had not been properly sealed. I did not carry it carelessly — I held it upright and handled it carefully, yet this happened in under a minute. I strongly hope you improve your packaging method. Very disappointed.
Place is small, not a lot of seats available however the food is amazing. Feels busy inside, can't really linger or enjoy the ambiance. Take out or delivery might be better options then dining in. Good for a quick bite. Generous portion, fair price. With that in mind, I would recommend and definitely coming back.
been ordering online twice very tasty and authentic. can't wait to try the food in the restaurant. im gonna share this place to all my friends
delicious hand-pulled noodle restaurant! It seems like it’s always very busy so expect to wait and share a table. I got a small beef soup, which was the perfect portion for a late lunch, but I’d probably recommend the medium! As a visitor to Montreal, this was a perfect first meal on a chilly day.
Authentic Chinese hand-pulled noodles made with fresh ingredients. Generous portions. Restaurant is quite small so it gets pretty crowded.
Best Noodles
I have been there multiple times and it WAS great those first times. I went today and there was plastic and I ended up swallowing some because it was in my noodles. This is not acceptable. I get it’s a rush to get everyone their food since there’s a long wait but not an excuse to forget about food quality.
Amazing soup ! Very flavorful, great service. Definitely worth the wait.
I really enjoyed the soup there ! I will definitely repeat the experience!
