Service is just terrible. I’ve been a number of times(don’t ask) and the service is just awful. Waited 5 minutes for water and one of the drinks we ordered never arrived and had to be re ordered. When the food came we discovered there was only two forks and one knife in the container…took almost 5 minutes , while watching our food get cold, to get more cutlery. I’ve been to two locations - Sherbrooke st and Wellington st and the service has been bad at both.

Unfortunately, my recent experiences here have been very disappointing. I had been coming to this restaurant for years, but since the management change, there has been a noticeable decline in both the food quality and overall experience. Many of the good, long-time employees have also left, which says a lot about how things have changed. One employee who always stood out was Damian. He consistently provided exceptional service and was always professional and attentive. I personally witnessed him being extremely overworked, essentially taking on the responsibilities of both a server and a busser while the restaurant was packed, while the manager sat on his phone. And unfortunately, this was not an isolated occurrence. Damian has since left his position, and honestly, after what I witnessed, I can understand why. I’ve also heard concerns about the lack of proper cleaning supplies and support for staff, which is concerning if true. It’s genuinely disappointing to see a restaurant I had enjoyed for years decline this much. Management needs to take a serious look at the food quality, cleanliness, staffing, and most importantly, how their employees are being supported.

The beef steak and the burgers were fantastic last night. Zac, our server, was helpful and a delightful. Try the sweet potato fries and the wings. Sit outside before the weather turns. Nice ambiance.

They accommodated a very large group. The service was impeccable. Really great staff and well prepared. Everyone in our group enjoyed greatly the atmosphere and even without asking, they lower the volume of the music for two speeches that people gave. Thank you so much for making this event so mémorable

Sherbrooke street restaurant was full when I arrived (a leaving party) but the barman was super friendly when I nabbed the last seat at the bar. Super tasty burger from the special menu and two crisp pints of house lager. Great place, great service!

Went there in August and had the Cheesecake with a milkshake - the drink menu holds a ton of options and really fun Sangrias, twas also nice to be able to have my son with me on the terrace (went to the NDG location) The food was pretty good as were the drinks, never felt unseen or underappreciated; was served under the attentive watch of a young man named Zach who made the whole group feel like we'd known him for years, casual but Professional. All in all a great night and no notes; 'looking forward to next outing!

I had a really great experience at Notre-Bœuf-de-Grâce, and a huge part of that was because of our server, Damian. From the moment we sat down, Damian was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. He made us feel comfortable right away and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a great experience. Damian was attentive without being overbearing, which I really appreciated. He checked in on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and was always happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. He was also very knowledgeable about the food and gave us some helpful recommendations when we weren’t sure what to order. What stood out the most was Damian’s attitude. He was genuinely upbeat and personable throughout the entire meal. Even when the restaurant was busy, he remained patient and attentive, and it was obvious that he takes his job seriously. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was going smoothly, and his positive attitude really added to the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was great, but having a server like Damian made the experience even better. Good service can make a huge difference when you’re going out to eat, and Damian is exactly the kind of server who makes customers want to come back. He was respectful, funny, attentive, and extremely easy to talk to. Overall, I would definitely recommend Notre-Bœuf-de-Grâce, and if you happen to have Damian as your server, you’re in good hands. He deserves a lot of credit for the experience he provides to customers. It’s clear that he puts effort into making people feel welcome, and that definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. Thank you, Damian, for the excellent service! I’ll definitely be coming back.
