Great food and service
What guests say about Neotokyo
Neotokyo seems to be very well liked for its tasty ramen, generous noodles, and several popular side dishes like karaage, wontons, and salads. The service is often described as fast, friendly, and attentive, with a strong immersive atmosphere and cyberpunk/Japanese decor that comes up often in comments. A few reviews mention dishes that were a little too salty, noise, or a wait time, but the overall experience is very positive. It’s a good choice if you’re looking for a ramen restaurant with a strong vibe and good service.

Can get busy but worth it great ambiance too but mainly good ramen downtown, their brothless stuff is great too.
Une belle découvert ! recently dined at Neo Tokyo and everything was flawless from start to finish. The food was outstanding, packed with authentic and bold flavors, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch, attentive, friendly, and efficient. On top of that, the atmosphere and vibe completely transport you. I took a bunch of photos btw. If you are in Montreal, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be back!
The mood, the food everything is great! Highly recommend!!
Amazing food and fantastic service. The waiters where very friendly and recommended a spicy ramen dish-I don’t remember the name, but it was 10/10. I also tried some sake, which was good as well. Highly recommend !
Amazing!
Ok ramen and great atmosphere. And one of the e few place where you can get cold/no soup ramen. But 50$ for a starter and ramen is completely out of control, 4 times more expensive than Japan. So go for dinner, forget about lunch.
Really cool place with great food
Brought two out-of-town guests to NeoTokyo last night with high hopes. While the chicken, squid, and dumpling entrées were delicious, the main course was a letdown. We all ordered the Mazesoba (sans bouillon) and found it incredibly over salty. I regret not speaking up to our server at the time, as the dish was unfortunately a big disappointment for all of us.
Amazing confort food and original setting! You love the Cyberpunk vibe and music or you don't. Great spot for some affordable and quick ramen and the Quility hits the right spot for it's price point, Especially the noodles that have the perfect texture. I highly recommend this spot. The staff was casual and gave a nice vibe allowing me to relax and observe a bit.
Incredible food. Great service. Amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Great trendy ramen spot, it ended up being super busy at lunch, but worth the wait. The cucumber salad was a little salty, but very refreshing The Tokyo has a delightfully clear savouriness with lots of ginger. The tonkotsu is rich and warm, perfect for a rainy day. The specials were super fun and the service was very accommodating despute the super busy lunch rush. Thank you for a lovely meal in Montreal!
I don't care too much for the ramen, but they have the best karaage. My friend and I love to share the cucumber salad. Another friend loves the spicy karaage. The curry with karaage is wonderful. The hamachi sashimi is delicious. Make sure to reserve for lunch time cause it's always packed.
the inside was super cool and the service was great, but the food fell a little flat.
Came here for early dinner with friends, the staff was friendly and the mazemen was really good!
Really cool spot with good Ramen!
The food was really good, the service was amazing, and also, the atmosphere is awesome, I liked the design so much, a lot of cool details were there to enjoy! Definitely recommended and I’ll take my friends who are not from Montreal to this place as soon as they’re in town!
Really enjoyed my time there! We were a large group and still didn't have to wait long to be seated. The ramen was really good too! Only slight is the noise levels (lots of people so it was very loud). Would still reccomend!
This place really has a Tokyo vibe. The ramen is the way to go here. loved it.
Visiting Montreal for work, I was excited to try this place for lunch. The menu item I ordered "Hakata Kaizoku" sounded great, and I ordered an extra egg with it. I don't even know if it's what I received - it just tasted (and looked) like minced garlic broth with noodles. And exactly 0 eggs. I really, really wanted to like it.
An absolutely awesome experience. Amazing, polite staff. The ramen, mocktails and cocktails are immaculate for a reasonable price. I would recommend this experience to ramen lovers with my eyes closed.
Nice spot, great food and service. The vibes are great and the prices low for the quality of the food.
Amazing!
10/10 experience - high quality food and service Overall we had such an amazing experience. The waiter was kind and offered suggestions to add to our drinks order, as my partner likes yuzu. I got the H20 and loved the taste of Sake and Mezcal. The ramen I had was a rich, fatty and salty broth with amazing taste and fresh noodles. Definitely delicious but if you're looking for a healthy option try the Miso! My partner had their signature mazesoba and it was AMAZING with fresh herbs and meat. For this price point in this neighbourhood I'd highly recommend it. 10/10 value too.
Best. Ramen. In. Town. The open kitchen concept adds and extra dimension to the experience they’re offering at Neotokyo. The aesthetic makes you feel like you’re stepping off the streets of Montreal into a local ramen shop in Tokyo! The drinks are great and pair well with the food they offer. If you’re in the area or not, it’s worth trying. Before myself and the group of friends I went with left we were already planning to come back again shortly. Not only is a fun and cool place to check out the food is one of the best bites I’ve had in Montreal.
