Was very impressed by the food, portion sizes and cost/quality here. Very basic interior, service can be a bit slow, but the food more than makes up for it. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and ordered the platter for 4 people, and were left with tons of leftovers for the next day. Kids loved it too.

Way too Overpriced for the portion they give. Food was below average. Came here with lots of expectations but wasn't impressed at all. Not even in my 5 Turkish restaurants I've been to in Greater Mtl area. Edit: The leftover was the Turkish Pizza, not the plate, so don't try to lie as a business and make things up because that will only be for your bad, not mine. Not to mention, that's was the worse Turkish Pizza we ever had and I give the leftover to a Homeless, of course I will not waste it after paying $92 for 2 average plates and a Pide. There is no so called "how our restaurant operates" in this world, I can order at the counter or at the table. I ordered kafta Kabab and you brought me filet mignon? Maybe put someone educated or someone who know what the client is talking about. And of course I will not say to the waitress that I was not impressed by the food, it is not her fault, she did her best. I asked for a coke, she never brought, even then I said no problem and even paid her good tip for being nice. Once again, this doesn't change the fact that your food was below average. Nice try tho.

With my wife, we found this Turkish restaurant, a true Gem 💎 in Laval. The staff welcomed us and gave us a great service. Even provided my baby daughter with coloring book and pen to draw. They also gave my daughter candy lollipop. since we discovered this place during Mother's day, they were offering all women with a red rose flower which was very beautiful and appreciated. Then, we ordered their mix kabab grill with their chicken pide and it was delicious, from their doner to their Adana kabab it was amazing. Their chicken pide is a MUST, you have to try it! Everything is freshly made and cooked! Great taste, great flavour, great price. Inside it is not fancy but you can feel that this is family owned and it is warm and nice. Overall, I highly recommend this place!!!! Update 14Fen2025: great place, great food, good service. I still highly recommend!!! Update 08Jan2026: still great food & quality. I have recently ordered few times in January 2026 through Doordash and the service was excellent. Their Chicken Doner is amazing either in plate with bulgur or in sandwich! I also recommend their Cacik Tzatziki sauce, it pairs very well with their chicken doner. I still highly recommend!!!

Very good kebap ! Very nice place , super clean and the quality of food is top notch ! I'm from Milan , we have alot of turkish places and this one reminds me one next to my house in Italy ! And the price ? AMAZING! KEEP GOING GUYS 🙏🏼🧿💪🏼

I’m updating my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. I’ve visited the restaurant three times over the past year, and everything has become much better. —————————- My visit to Nazar restaurant left me with mixed feelings. The BBQ items were delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. But the shawarma was from the previous day, lacking the freshness I expected( it was heated from fridge, not fresh from the shawarma machine) The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which enhanced the dining experience but unfortunately, they made three mistakes that slightly disrupted our meal. In terms of pricing, I found it reasonable given the portion sizes and quality of the BBQ dishes. Overall, Nazar restaurant has its strengths with delicious BBQ options and a warm atmosphere created by the friendly staff. However, improvements are needed in ensuring food freshness and order accuracy. Three stars reflect my mixed experience.

We had lunch here on Saturday December 13th after seing a social media post advertising this place. There were lots of seats, mix of booths and tables - we were served promptly and had no issues with food or service. Our party of 3 tried the mix meat platter, some type of cheese roll appetizer, one of their spinach/cheese pizzas and a beef doner sandwhich. The meal also came with two types of dips and bread, which were delicious. We could tell everything was fresh and made with care. Portions and pricing are very fair. My only complaint is that the shaved doner meat (beef) which we chose tasted gamey, it had a strong flavor compared to other gyro style meats I've had elsewhere. This almost tasted like lamb despite being described as beef only. I am not a fan of lamb or any strong gamey flavors so beware if you are getting this. I also noticed the kebabs are a mix of lamb. Might be best to stick with chicken if you do not want to risk it.

Great spot in Laval! The doner is super juicy, well-seasoned, and the presentation is always on point. Staff is friendly, service is quick, and the portions are worth the price. Love their grilled options and the kunafa is a must-try. Definitely coming back!

I went to eat with my friend. There is no greeting to the customer. There is no smile. They don't address the customer as "you", they address them as "you". This is very rude. When we entered the restaurant, they looked at us as if we were going to ask for free food and treated the customer that way. There is no respect.

This was my first time tasting Turkish cuisine and I was truly impressed by this restaurant! The service was excellent and I love how every dish comes with complimentary entrées — ezme, tzatziki, and fresh bread to dip in! I highly recommend it!
