Good spot. I'm not quite fanatic of the open jar/shared spoon sauce plater set on table serving after serving. I feel it's unclean so that was a turnoff for me. Staff is kind. Not too loud. Food was good and served hot. I feel bill was way to overpriced for whst we ate. Quantities and plates are emptyish... would be nice to have a little side dish at prices they charge. Porc tacos with pineapple were my fav. Excellent taste. I would go again.

Wow… I went in to order a taco to go and basically got ignored and then was basically treated like I was a nuisance. The woman taking my order seemed so annoyed with me for asking what birra was vs suadero. She kept rushing me - it was unreal. She was like “look up at the screen, it will tell you what it is”. Umm no it’s just a close up pic. I choose my order. She tells me to sit down and she’ll bring it in 5 mins. 15 mins after sweating in there, I just got up and left and got better service elsewhere. They seemed to prefer entertaining the really obnoxious loud dudes who were there - at least they gave them service. Never going back - bad taste in my mouth.

At the time of your visit, there were other customers ahead, and our team was following the order of arrival to serve everyone fairly. We also have menus and screens designed to help guide guests through options like birria and suadero. All of our food is prepared fresh to order, which can sometimes involve a short wait, especially during peak times. If there was any miscommunication or you felt rushed, that is not the experience we aim to provide.

Wow... The food was SO good. We also got a horchata to share and it was incredibly yummy. The horchata had a lot of cinnamon so just be careful if you're allergic, it's not plain. Everyone gets a plate of spicy salsas to choose from. My husband said that this is the first time he has ever stopped to pay close attention to flavors and textures because it was so beautiful and tasted so good. He usually just eats without thinking about it. It was a special experience. He got the tacos de barrio and I got the norteña gringa. We wish it was slightly less expensive, but it was worth it. One tiny bit of confusion we had was that we were not sure if we were meant to sit down first or go to the counter first, but after reading a comment or two I think we were meant to go to the counter. However this wasn't imposed and we actually received table service which was nice. I don't mind going up to the counter next time though. 😊 We will be back!

Very good 100% recommend. Tried the gringas, surf and turf chicken tacos and birria bowl. Wow amazing! Birria is absolutely delicious. Definitely will go back

One of the best restaurants i have ever been to, everything was good and authentic, my girlfriend is latina and even her, she said they are by far the best tacos in montreal. Horchata is great, micheladas and camaroleda are fantastic, the quesabiria were the best and the machete with beef and shrimps was a masterpiece and oh god they have 5 different hot sauces, all homemade and all very good. Great food, fast service and 5 coronas for 35$ is a great price. I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant and i will be back often, and i will suggest this place to everyone i know !!! Great work guys keep it up !!!!!

Based on the Google reviews, I decided to try this place and ordered both beef and chicken tacos. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The meat quality was very low, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Amazing food and ambience birras were soo juicy it had me acting up. Plus ever orders gets a plate of 4 sauce so you can pick n choice which you like I didn't even know they were soo good bit on the pricey end but so worth it. Menu was a bit confusing God bless the waiter for explaining it all so well.

I found Morena Mía and it was honestly such a pleasant surprise. Their Machetes and salsas are delicious, with incredible flavor and very generous portions. On top of that, the service was excellent—everyone was always kind and attentive. It’s one of those places that leaves you wanting to come back and keep trying more from the menu.

The taco meat was hard to chew, corn tortilla was served cold. The staff wasn’t attentive enough and had to ask for water because it wasn’t offered and also for refills. Food and bottled sodas took over 30 minutes to be served. Food is expensive and not really as good or authentic(27 dollars for a machete) and it isn’t filler either. This place is definitely in my “do not go” list. Really disappointed.

The food was decent, but nowhere near worth the price. The meat itself was good, but the corn tortillas were undercooked and drenched in oil. Authentic shouldn’t equate to overpriced - plenty of restaurants in the area offer better quality for less The service was also disappointing, we had to wait nearly 20 minutes just to receive bottled drinks. This place used to be great, but after the recent renovations and name change, the quality seems to have gone downhill. To put the pricing into perspective, we ordered one machete, one singular taco, a bag of chips, and an apple juice, and the total came out to $66, which is extremely overpriced for what we received. Cocktails aren’t fully rimmed, which is crazy for charging $2-3 higher than local establishments

Queremos aclarar que todos nuestros precios están claramente publicados en el menú antes de ordenar. En su caso, el total corresponde a lo que se pidió: un machete de asada, un machete de carnitas, un taco de asada, chips importadas Rancheritos Grande y una bebida de manzana. Respecto al tiempo de espera, nuestra comida se prepara fresca al momento. Además, hubo un momento en el que se estuvo esperando a que llegara la persona que los acompañaba antes de continuar con el servicio. También nos gustaría mencionar que al finalizar su comida se le preguntó amablemente cómo había estado su experiencia y en ese momento los comentarios fueron positivos. Por eso nos sorprende leer ahora que su experiencia no fue la esperada, ya que siempre estamos dispuestos a escuchar y resolver cualquier situación en el momento. Nuestro objetivo siempre es ofrecer comida auténtica, buen servicio y una experiencia agradable para todos nuestros clientes. Agradecemos sus comentarios.
