Pizza was very good. Dough & texture are close enough to Napoli style. However the prosciutto pizza hardly had any real prosciutto on it. It was shredded ham, which i had a difficult time to understand. You’re charging $25 for a small pizza that hardly costs anything. When you claim prosciutto you should use it. The fried calamari lacked seasoning and was bland. It’s a no brainer dish in most restaurants, just saying. Also it took the server sometime to bring it to our table while it was hot & crispy. Instead it was sitting at the kitchen counter for a good while. Basic 101. What bothers the most would be the resto lacked ventilation. The smell gets in the hair and clothes worse than a barbecue restaurant with no chimney. It’s a very cute dating spot but I guess after dinner not much will be happening because of the bad smell. Not sure how did this even pass building code. The restaurant tries to diminish this matter by using cold air conditioning and it’s 7 degree outside. The cold air was blowing right into my head. A change of wind direction was attempted to improve the situation but overall it was very unpleasant. Hopefully no one catches a cold tomorrow! I do think their pizza is worth coming back for but will be hesitant with the ventilation issue.
