Honestly a very good paella, or fideua! Same quality and taste then the one you can eat in Spain!!! The croquettes are made by them and very good too! Nothing frozen! I go eating there anytime I go downtown! Strongly recommended to have a taste of Spain in Montreal Downtown.
Reviews / Ratings for Montreal Paella
We just wanted a snack and we got one of each croquettes that they offer and they were so delicious I forgot to take a picture for the review. The workers were very friendly and helpful as well !
We’ve been to Valencia and have eaten paella and arroz con whatever but this was one of the best experiences ever. Order the jamon iberico. It’s not bellota quality but it’s delicious with the pan con tomate. Order the croquetas. I wish we had the gildas but we’ll leave it to another time. I wish I could have had the fabada asturiana. It being Good Friday, we order Arroz del Senyoret. ¡Ay, Dios mío! Will we be back? Absolutely. And thank you for serving a decent red wine by the glass.
Tried Montreal Paella through their online order system, and the whole process was super smooth from start to finish. The website was easy to navigate, ordering was quick, and everything was clearly laid out which made it really convenient. Pickup was right on time, and the food was still hot and well packaged. The paella was full of flavor, with generous portions and fresh ingredients, you can tell a lot of care goes into it. Overall, great food and a seamless online ordering experience that makes it easy to enjoy at home. Definitely a spot I would order from again.
Absolutely love this place. I’ve been here more than once and it’s always worth it in my opinion. The chicken paella is my absolute favorite — the flavor is so good and I genuinely love every ingredient in it. I also really appreciate how easy it is to navigate the menu with a gluten intolerance, since the gluten-free items are clearly marked. Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious, including the rice pudding and bravas! The staff are always super friendly and go above and beyond. On my last visit, our server recommended a glass of white wine that paired perfectly with my paella, which I really appreciated. Definitely one of the places I recommend when people want really good Spanish food in Montreal. Will absolutely be back.
A winning trifecta of unique flavors, attentive service, and a lovely atmosphere. Well worth the visit!
The waitress seemed overwhelmed and unapologetic about the wait of our food. It took 1 hour to get our paella. The manager/owner was highly unattentive and literally yelled at us in front of other customers when we complaint why it took so long for our food to be ready. I will never go back to this place, I don't recommend you to go. Horrible experience
Went for dinner while visiting. Its just a small place but the service was excellent and the food was phenomenal. If you are in Montreal give it a try and you won't be disappointed. We will be back every time we visit Montreal.
Food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the restaurant is cozy! Only complaint is the wait time of 40mins on the paella and not being able to order it in advance, but they do specify it on their menu.
Really nice experience!
If you like paellas, that’s the place ! The service is exceptional, the food is amazing, the place is clean and cozy. Everything is done on site and super fresh! Half of my family is Spanish and it feels home ! Thanks 🙏🏻
If you want to eat well at a totally reasonable price for top quality ingredients, go to this place, best paella I have eaten in my life and I have already eaten paellas in Madrid, Bilbao and Barcelona, the anchovies were also delicious, the bread fresh, the patatas bravas perfectly done, the flan also amazing, the service was great too, nothing to complain, nothing to say but thanks, also it was saint valentines and they gave me and my girl a rose and a chocolat, god bless this place and it’s cooks and staff
When it tastes like home it's a winner!! I usually compare the tortilla de patatas with mine, and it did not disappoint! It was as good as mine 😉 ☺️ Since I came back from Spain last year I've been yearning for Callos (tripe stew) and O...... M........ G..... It was amazing, as good as the one I had in Barcena Mayor 😍 😍 😍 🥰 🥰 🥰 🥰 definitely coming back for that!!
A lot of paellas to choose from and excellent service.
