We had a 8 people party we set down on the table and start ordering the food my husband went to use bathroom and the owner started yelling at us that he can’t use bathroom unless per placed the order.there was no rule posted on the wall that we can’t use bathroom before we order the food owner told us that we are going to call police we said call the police That’s the worst place to dine in owner and the staff are so mean .I highly not recommend to go this place .This restaurant should be shutting down.
Reviews / Ratings for Montreal Kebab - Shawarma Halal Poutine - Burgers Salads ...Falafel - Catering
Best kebab in town. Fresh, juicy meat, crunchy salad, and the garlic sauce is incredible. Fast service and fair price. I highly recommend. :)
This place saved me. I was so hungry and tired. The food was prepared quickly. The wait staff was polite and unobtrusive. The food was so delicious. The flavors were so strong and tasty. I felt so much better and happier after eating here.
Extreme Racism. Req 1 dish per person Forced tip Went to Student Tasty Biryani instead, great prices, food, service, atmosphere and hospitality.
One of the best kebab in Montréal. Portions are generous and fresh. Friendly staff too Every time I visit Montréal I stop by.
I went to this restaurant, very good food, restaurant is very clean.
Best shawarma I’ve ever had in Montreal. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend 🤤🤤
I don’t ever write reviews if I didn’t eat there. But as I was picking up for my Uber Eats customer I saw who I presume is the owner yelling at a customer who was getting back from the restroom, the customer demanded respect because he was an elder and the owner didn’t back down. Things got very heated as I left.
Food was good, but I saw the owner yelling at an elder customer about using the bathroom. Things were about to escalate into a fist fight and the chef came out until the elders family backed away. I think the owner was racist against them due to their origins.
great food and a wonderful customer service.
BEST KEBAB IN THE CITY!
A Hidden Gem in the Old Port! If you’re wandering through the cobblestone streets of the Old Port looking for something that hits the perfect balance of fresh, flavorful, and genuinely satisfying, stop walking. Montreal Kebab is the spot. I’m still thinking about the falafel—crispy on the outside, perfectly fluffy on the inside, and clearly made fresh, not pulled out of a freezer bag. But the real star of the show for me was the kebbah. It’s incredibly authentic, packed with savory, perfectly seasoned goodness, and absolutely bursting with flavor. Mohammed was welcoming and the food is just phenomenal. In an area filled with tourist traps, this place is a breath of fresh, garlic-scented air. Do yourself a favor and grab a bite here—your tastebuds will thank you! Must-try: The fresh kebbah and a side of falafel. 10/10.
TOURIST TRAP! Stopped by for a poutine. You can find better poutines at most places including shopping malls. The fries were soggy. The good news is that the restaurant was cleanish and has a nice location. Service was rude even for Quebec. The Owner wouldn’t even give us an extra fork. We felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. If you’re looking for authentic poutine this is not the place.
Ordered mixed kebap menu, chicken and beef, the portion was super small. Roughly 100gr of beef+chicken was served. Beef had a white sauce not sure what was it but it was kind of sour. Overall, I would not recommend.
My friend and I stopped in here on a whim and were absolutely stunned!! The vibe was so cool and they were so understanding of my friends food restrictions (celiac). Top two meals I had in Montreal! Our server was so lovely, and the gentleman who made our meal so kind. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone! The food was so well seasoned, the beef kebabs were perfect, the salad dressing was so well made and some of the best fried potatoes I’ve had in my life!
Excellent meal !!! And very knowledgeable about gluten free.
Very fast and good service. The staff is amazing and respectful. The food was amazing! Will definitely be back! Recommend it 💯
Loved it, went for lunch, had a mixed plate. Very good and cozy.
Quaint place located upstairs. Waitress didn't seem that talkative. Unsure if that was due to a language barrier or if that was just her. They do not serve water other than in water bottles and didn't allow us to sit facing the river. Food was fine, we actually preferred the chicken to the beef. One family actually left before ordering because they make you order one dish per person including small children.
The place is cute with a small view of busy St. Paul's street, however it feels a bit worn out. The tissues of the tablecloths and chairs were stained and the space is a bit crammed, they could use a renovation. The service was good and the food was super delicious, however the portion was way too small and I'm not even a big eater, the size of each dish was child portioned. Also, bring your own water if you can unless you want to pay $3 for a bottle of Eska water since they don't serve water.
The over all experience is really nice & warm … the food is very very delicious … would definitely come back when ever I came around
Amazing food and amazing hospitality
Horrible owner, should not be working in customer service anywhere. Order a full plate even for a baby and don't question it or u get screamed at by the owner.
Best shawarma and grilled dishes in town! The food is absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked every time. The staff is super friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious Middle Eastern food!
Great place to eat full meal with protein and veggies ! I highly recommend. Solid choice .
