The parking situation isn’t good. There aren’t enough restrooms, and they’re not clean. The waiting time for dinner is long. The food didn’t taste good.

Don't get me wrong this was excellent but at that price I expect for everything in my plate to be good. And those random wet veggies are not it. Roast them, idk grill them maybe?? They were mushy and still had droplets of water coming out of them when I was picking them up... I know you don't go there for the veggies but if you don't know how to cook a broccoli for a 52$ plate just don't put them on the plate. Somme grilled carrots topped with honey that would've be so good with the plate I chose and the pistachios. Potatoes very good and the meat too I loved the mix of flavor with the sauce, it felt different and I loved it!

I have never had a bad meal or service at Mont Village, but tonight it was exceptional. Table d'hote was incredible and our service from Chiara was amazing. She is a great example of how customer service ia suppose to be.

Amazing! I've been driving past it on the highway for 20 years, can't believe such a nice place existed. Staff is wonderful, decent roast and creamy pints!

I’ve been going to mon village for 40 years plus and the way the staff gaslite me today was unnecessary .. to the girl behind the bar and the waitress that made me feel even worse today with the attitude you threw and the sharp sarcastic I called and asked for a steak sandwich and a Caesar salad. Came to pick up my food got in the car noticed that there was no fries in my steak sandwich went back to ask why there was no fries. I wasn’t angry or loud She said that I didn’t order the fries again. I suggested that there was a misunderstanding and she looked at me and she said yes, so sarcastically said yes I made a mistake. It was a back-and-forth and then I had another waitress come out and kind of say very loudly here you go! it’s on the house!. Here’s some fries on the house!. I never asked for anything to be on the house. I asked for a steak sandwich with an appetizer of a Caesar salad salad, and I got gaslit. Disgusting attitude from staff

We recently visited this restaurant and were dissatisfied with the service, so we decided not to leave a tip when paying the bill. From the moment we arrived at 11:30 a.m., we were immediately told that we had to leave by 1:00 p.m. The entire experience felt rushed, especially since we still had to wait for our food. When it came time to pay, the server became quite aggressive upon realizing that no tip was left, even though we explained that we were unhappy with the service. She continued to argue about the tip repeatedly. She walked away while speaking loudly about how it was “not okay” not to leave a tip, then returned to our table to ask again if we needed the card machine to add a tip. After the attitude we received, we declined. She then denied her behavior entirely. The situation made us feel uncomfortable and threatened, leaving us with a very negative feeling after the meal. We decided to leave and went to the car park. Shortly after, another staff member came outside and took our car registration number. According to the law, taking a customer’s car registration because they did not leave a tip is illegal and may constitute theft. Tips are voluntary, and it is unlawful for restaurant staff or owners to take or record personal property or personal information as a result of a tipping or payment dispute. Withholding or collecting such information can be considered an unfair practice or potentially theft. The registration was likely taken not as any legitimate form of “collateral,” but potentially for improper or fraudulent reasons, as vehicle registration information can contain sensitive personal data.

We went to mon village just before christmas 2025. I asked if the French fries were thick cut. They said yes so I opted for the fries with my meal which was chicken brochette. When our meal arrived the brochette was cremated and charred, the peppers were black and the chicken was dry and horribly overcooked. Frankly it was inedible. The chips were cooked in oil that was patently very old, the fries were oil soaked, brown sour tasting and floppy. The best part of the meal was out of a packet, which was the pate. The bill was over 100 dollars including a glass of wine and a beer. It was far and away the worst meal I have had in 23 years of living in Canada. Dont order the fish and chips either. They were bad the time before when I went but I decided to give it one more chance. We wont be going ever again. If you must go, just go for a beer. The building is full of character.
