What a gem! We went for a early Sunday dinner and had a lovely time. The food was lovely. I have to say, the veggies were cooked perfectly 👌 they were hot and soft, with a bit of firmness still to them. So many places overcook veggies and the come so soft if not mushy.... but not here. The brightness they add to the plates was refreshing to see. The steaks my table had were cooked to a perfect temp. One had a medium and I had the mid-rare and you can see the difference. Both spot on. The chicken dishes my other companions had were just as nice, and moist. The service was attentive and very friendly. Dennis "the Menace" (our server) made us feel welcomed and feel like he knew us. He made a playful joke and the end that referenced a joke we made with him while serving. It showed he took an interest in us while we were there. Look I could go on and explain that I was worried when I saw the menu had so many choices, and that I thought that they would not be able to keep it all fresh.... but saw no sign that ciuld be the case. Dont tell but even was checking out the other tables food.... their burger looked so appealing and I had just finished eatting. I saw about a dozen beer on tap, and enough glassware hanging that I would bet that on a Friday or Sat it wiuld have a nice atmosphere. If you are in the area this is a great place to go. Right off the highway and has such a charm to it. I dont give 5 stars often but if I had to pick a complaint.... it would be that they brought the sauces for the main during the appetizer service. So I am not taking a star off for that. Will most certainly go back again.
