The food here is incredible! We actually ordered something that wasn’t even on the menu, a shared platter with fried chicken, BBQ ribs, and grilled chicken, served with fries, salad, and pasta (or rice). We saw a photo of it on Google Maps and asked the owner about it. He recommended it and was happy to make it for us. He really should put this on the menu because it’s SO GOOD and definitely the best value! Everything we tried was so yummy. The BBQ ribs were amazing, they have both pork and beef options, and we got the beef! It was super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The fried chicken was very well seasoned, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside 🥹, the grilled chicken was also excellent, perfectly grilled with great seasoning, and the skin was cooked just right. The portions are also bigger than they look! The homemade iced tea goes really well with the food too. Highly recommened!!! 🥰 The owner is so nice and very welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Montreal💗💗💗💗💗

As someone who lived for years in the US, I did not think it was possible to get decent barbecue here in Montreal. This place blew me out of the water. Every we ate was phenomenal and the meal was a great value. The service was also warm and generous. Highly recommend.

What an amazing gem in Little Italy. Popped into Montreal to visit McGill and a local friend recommended this neighborhood joint for chicken. It’s so so so so good. I can’t believe it! Fried chicken, rotisserie chicken, salad, fries and beef ribs. We ran out of room for poutine. The owner is a warm, friendly guy with superb service. We will return!

Mon Petit Poulet is a small neighborhood spot here in Little Italy, and it’s one of those places that quietly does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Really good fried chicken and fries, consistently. This isn’t a place trying to reinvent the wheel. It’s classic, straightforward comfort food, done properly. The chicken is always crispy, well-seasoned, and juicy, and the fries are solid every time. I’ve eaten here multiple times and it’s never missed. The owner is usually there and is genuinely warm and welcoming, and the service is always friendly and efficient. What surprises me most is that it’s rarely busy, because it absolutely deserves more local love. If you live in the area and want a reliable, no nonsense fried chicken spot, this should be in your rotation. It’s not chasing trends or trying to be something it’s not, it's just a very good neighborhood spot that does one thing well and does it consistently.
