I got a bad vibe just entering the restaurant. Once we got in most of the staff just stared at us and looked away quickly. Then, a staff member informed us that we can only go for the all-you-can-eat option on Fridays and Saturdays. However, the website says that we can order a la carte at any time, so that was a lie lol. Edit: I appreciate the explanation. I woulda liked to know I could've orderered for take out instead of being told we simply can't order.

Hello, we received your review and quickly verify with our staffs. We are apologizing for the feeling you had but we can explain. When customers come in, the bell rings to alert all the waiters and one of the waiter will come to greet the customers. The other waiters will continue their jobs to serve other customers inside the restaurant. So we looked at you, but not staring at you, we looked away to continue with our job because we know there is another person is serving you at that time. For the Friday and Saturday dining , we only serve AYCE menu at all of our locations, menu A la cart is for take out only . When the customers reserve the table online , there always a notice for them to know. We also advice the head office to update the website more clearly so the customers will know for the next time. We again apologize for the inconvenience

I had a great experience at Mon Ami BBQ Masson! The food was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and really satisfying. Even though the place was quite busy, our order came out surprisingly fast, which was impressive. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. You can really tell they care about their customers. Overall, a great spot with amazing food and excellent service. I will definitely be coming back!

When I first saw that Mon Ami was opening on Masson, I was really super excited to finally get korean food nearby. I tried this place on a Tuesday evening around 20:00. The owner told me that AYCE was no longer available and I honestly did not have any problem with that. Then, I assume it was the teenage daughter of the owner that put my husband and I at a table that is meant for 6 right next to the window. The weather was very cold that night so instead of sitting facing each other, we ended up sitting next to each other to keep warm. That was the first ick but I figured it wasn’t that bad. Another waitress that seemed to also be a teenager (again, im assuming it was the daughter’s friend that got hired) came to give us ustensiles and water. She left everything on the table and we had to serve water ourselves. At this point im still okay with it but it is worth to mention that the restaurant was basically empty. We ordered a seafood pancake, ramen tteobokki, and 2 flavors of fried chicken. The ramen tteobokki came first and my husband was disappointed that it was in a soup form. We have ordered this same dish at other Mon Ami locations before, and it usually comes in a thick spicy sauce. Again, I tell myself, maybe we just didn’t read the description right of the dish. The pancake was served afterwards with no sauce. I asked the waitress to bring it and she completely forgot about it and my husband actually had to walk up to her to remind her because she was never looking at our table. The sauce finally came and the pancake was already getting cold. The pancake was very dense and crunchy (big difference with crispy). I did not think it was good. The fried chicken was delicious but I was already annoyed by all the rest of my experience. Overall, I would say that this restaurant needs to hire real waiters/waitress staffs. The service was very amateur and they could also definitely improve their korean pancake recipe. I was really truly rooting for this restaurant to thrive but my first experience was very mediocre. I would give it a try again in 6 months to see if there’s any improvement. Edit: my friend went and also had a horrible experience so i’m lowering my review to 1 star and would never come back here again 😐

The food is very good although when ordering, half of our food was forgotten multiple times. Very bad feeling to have to reorder multiple times the same dishes because of a problem in their system

Tha meat is excelente, fresh, as well as the veggies and side dishes. Friendly service from Nikki, explained all the how to's. Recommend. Perfect for a date

Second time I've been here with my sister, the food is so worth the price!We do the all you can eat menu, 45$/person.Might be pricey but the food is amazing and good quality!
