Absolutely incredible, if you don't like seafood Molenne might not be for you. Had some of the best seafood I've ever had and lots of options I'd never tried before. The service was very nice, and the tasting session made for a great anniversary dinner.
Took forever for the services to come and we had ordered the tasting menu in advance. Worst experience we’ve had in our life.
truly a divine evening at molenne. we had the turbot, pasta special, terrine, and bread and were blown away. everything was cooked to perfection and interesting. the service was quick and friendly. would recommend anyone come here for a nice dinner out in montreal.

Very disappointing experience. The service and kitchen seemed disorganized throughout the evening. It took over an hour for us to receive the first course of the premium tasting menu, and 45 minutes to be served a glass of white wine, which unfortunately arrived too warm. The waiter asked if we would like the surf and turf tasting menu, which we did, but ultimately did not receive any meat at all. The tasting menu also felt somewhat improvised, as though the dishes were being decided on the spot rather than following a well-planned menu. As the food was taking so long, we had to ask for bread twice because we were genuinely hungry. The seafood platter was good, although the oysters were very small and not particularly generous. Unfortunately, the other dishes were quite average and did not live up to our expectations. We left extremely disappointed, especially given the premium nature of the tasting menu. The staff did apologize for the issues, which we appreciated, but unfortunately, some friends of ours had a similarly poor experience a few weeks later. Overall, this was a very disappointing evening, and sadly, we would not return.
The food was amazingggg. The salmon was absolutely incredible. It was just expensive for small portions but if you’re balling out it’s AMAZING.

A good place for seafoods , oysters & snails are really goods . I took a steak like main dish and i was a bite disappointed. There’s no sauce & the sides vegetable doesn’t really go with the meat.
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was just ok, fairly uninspired for the price. 10oz steak, beet salad, 2 razor clams, 2 glasses of wine 200$. Replying to the reply from resto, with tip is came to 187$, so yes you are correct not 200$......but not far off. The food was well prepared, but like i said, had higher expectations i guess, tasted fine though! good luck.

The overall experience was ok. I found the price to be high for the quality of food. Ordering a side of potatoes was $19 to go along with my $35 plate. Too expensive for a side. Our dessert was VERY salty. Wasn't able to finish it. Lamb plate was good.

Absolutely outstanding! Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The food was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented — every dish looked and tasted amazing. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and I have to give a huge shoutout to the big homie Gia! I accidentally left my sunglasses behind, and he personally delivered them back to me. That level of care and thoughtfulness is rare. Highly recommend this place — we'll definitely be back!
We came in late at night and were absolutely shocked by Molenne. From the service to the quality of the dishes, I cannot recommend a place more. The caviar, sea urchins and oysters were to die for! Thank you again to François for the late night snack!
The food was REALLY disappointing, very flavourless, cold and overpriced. The wait was ridiculous, we were there 3 hours for a set menu, waiting up to 1 hour between dishes. I think the point is for you to drink more, but it also comes from being badly organized. The food came out cold and it was honestly surprising to taste such bad and odd flavour profiles, even the sea food platter was disappointing. The wine wasn’t great either. I chose this restaurant for a special occasion for my wife’s birthday and ended up bitterly regretting my decision to try Molenne, it was very very expensive for one of the worst meal we had ever had. I would absolutely avoid this place, I’m frankly surprised it’s still open.
Second time going to Molenne and I felt like I had to leave a review. The staff is attentive, and sweet. The meal is always impeccable and honestly priced :) a definite go-to if you’re looking for fresh ingredients and a cute vibe.
I went to this restaurant looking to try something new in Montreal, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment you walk in, the service is warm and welcoming. The space feels cozy/elevated. It's lively but still intimate enough for a conversation. We ordered the tuna tartare, bison tartare, cod, oxtail cannoli, potatoes, and a blueberry dessert. The food took waaaay too long to arrive—servers apologized, but no adjustment was made for the wait. (We arrived at 8:30 and around 10pm we still haven't received our main & at midnight I was eating dessert) That said… the food was beautiful. This was easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Montreal in a very long time. Where looking at about 200$ without drinks and worth every single penny. However, they would need to work on offering better service to enhance the dinning experience.
Incredibly fresh and stunning assortment of oysters and other raw bar delicacies. Delish entrees. My dining partner and I shared the pork stew, which was just enough after the cold seafood appetizers. It was unlike anything I’ve ever had, with a bit of pasta and “shredded” pork in a lovely sauce. Beautiful wines, too. The cheesecake was light and almost like a soufflé in texture, with shredded parm sprinkled on top. Wow! Service was extremely attentive without being over bearing. Servers seemed to love working as part of the team and seemed proud and enthusiastic about what they were serving. We will be back!
The degustation menu is beautifully curated. i haven’t had magret de canard the way i’ve had it here before and the oyster selection is delicious! what makes the experience special is Alex’s attention to detail and care. He definitely made the difference. will definitely come back again

What a wonderful evening. We were greeted by the owner who remembered that we were there for a special anniversary. The entire staff was genuine and attentive and they took care to explain the menu items, some of which were new to us. We loved all our choices. The blackened cod and trout were delicious as was the tartelette au pétoncles. We also had the Ragu as an additional entrée and it was also outstanding. The Basque Cheesecake reminded us of our visit to Basque territory in Spain and was large enough for 2. The waiters had excellent choices of wines to pair with our meals. Thank you for a memorable evening.
My date surprised me coming here and the whole team here was incredibly welcoming and warm. We had the best service from the team here on a Wednesday night. The food was impeccable. It was explained to perfection by Benjamin and the drinks were just as incredible. I had two cocktails off the menu as well as a dessert drink off menu. Everything was absolutely amazing! I will 100% be coming back! Thank you Hector, Francois, Benjamin, Gia, and the chefs working!! ✨
