Went to Moishes for the NYE to dine with my with Wife. It was our second time there and the experience was amazing !! The food was so good and the service was excellent. We enjoyed our time and the staff especially Rumendra, Max and Allan gave their best to make us feel at home. We’ll come back !!!!

Partner and I went for my 40th birthday lunch yesterday and let me tell you, our experience was in the top 3 service wise that I’ve ever had. The food was absolutely incredible, but the staff just went above and beyond to be both attentive and personal. Everyone stopped to find out more about us and by the time we left we felt like part of their family. It’s a shame we’re 6 hours away from the restaurant because we would choose to go again and again. A+++

So finally I went to the new Moishe's. I will say this, the food is good the atmosphere and service are great. For a fancy restaurant it's super friendly to kids (like really I was so impressed). The only real complain it does not fulfill my nostalgic Moishe experience. No person that remembers your coat, no selection of old school candy, an no old Jewish vibe. It's just another restaurant named Moishe. I also don't eat steak these days so I can't review if the steak is as good but my brother said it was. So Overall I would recommend this restaurant especially if you have kids. but you are not getting Moishe's.

A very refined steakhouse with an elegant atmosphere and excellent service. The ribeye was outstanding perfectly cooked, flavorful, and clearly of high quality. The desserts were also a highlight; the chocolate praline cake was exceptional, easily one of the best I’ve had in a long time. That said, this restaurant is definitely on the expensive side. For a steakhouse, the prices are quite high, and you are essentially paying a premium for the quality of the meat. Our bill came to around $400 for two people. Given the price point, it would have been appreciated if sides, such as potatoes, were included rather than ordered separately. Overall, despite the cost, the food quality, service, and ambiance were excellent, and the experience was very enjoyable. I would return for a special occasion, knowing what to expect in terms of pricing.

From start to finish, my Sunday evening meal at Moishe’s was a wonderful experience. The staff was pleasant and professional, the service was prompt and attentive and the food was simply delicious. It was a memorable night and I look forward to visiting again.

Moishes delivers an exceptional dining experience that reinforces why it remains a Montréal institution. Service was flawless—attentive, well-paced, and never intrusive. The gesture of two complimentary glasses of red wine set the tone for an evening defined by genuine hospitality. The steak was cooked perfectly, with a beautifully caramelized exterior and a tender, evenly cooked interior. The lobster mac and cheese was outstanding—rich, indulgent, and easily the best I’ve had, featuring generous lobster and a deeply flavorful bisque-based cheese sauce. Appetizers, including the escargot and arugula salad, were equally impressive, striking a thoughtful balance between richness and freshness. Lastly, the homemade Mille-Feuille dessert elegant and well-executed, providing a refined conclusion without excess. Overall, Moishes exemplifies consistency, precision, and classic steakhouse excellence. A truly memorable meal and highly recommended.

Outstanding evening in every respect. The food was exceptional but not just the steaks (which I expected) but also the salads (Caesar, tomatoes with burrata). Service was also perfect. I am a long-time patron of the old Moishe’s on st-Laurent and I was pleased to see that the tradition of excellence continues.
