Moishes is a fantastic choice for a friends’ night out. The vibe feels classic and special—lively enough for a celebration, but still comfortable for a long catch-up. Steaks are perfectly cooked and full of flavor, sides are generous and made for sharing, and the cocktails/wine list make it easy to turn dinner into a full evening. Service is polished and attentive without being pushy, so everything flows smoothly. If you want a memorable night with great food and that “treat yourself” atmosphere, Moishes delivers.

Went with my girlfriend for dinner here and it was an amazing experience, got a "le rocket" drink, which was the best cocktail I've ever had. For the mains we got the Icelandic cod and organic salmon and both were very very good. +1

Meh at best, food-wise. The atmosphere is similar to an airport lounge. Definitely not the Moishes of old. Not worth the price at all. It is worth noting that the service was excellent.

Stellar service and food!!! Less than ten minutes into our dinner I was already excited to be back. Our server, Christoph was perfectly attentive but not overbearing and my family and I felt taken care of the entire night by each and every member of staff we interacted with. Portions are generous and everything was incredibly delicious, steak melted in our mouth— we will absolutely be back! Ambiance and decor were beautiful as well. Highlight of our trip to the city, well worth the hype and the price. Thank you Moishes!

Friendly, efficient service. The ribeye was delicious, juicy, well cooked (ordered medium), well seasoned and most importantly not too salty. They offered the option to add additional salt and spices to my own taste and preference but I found it was not required for my own palate. I also got a complementary red wine sauce to pair with the steak but still found that the steak stood well on its own. Ordered a side of garlic mash potatoes that paired nicely with the steak. Appreciated the complementary bread and butter, coleslaw and a crispy pickle served prior to the appetizer and entree. The waiter was also diligent in refilling my glass with water and checking in on my needs, including a refill of the complementary add ons (I decided to request another pickle). He was also kind enough to strike a general conversation about the city and giving tips on touring the area. I’ll be back here with family the next time I visit Montreal. Thanks for the pleasant visit and dining experience.
