Awesome experience, super tasty food. Lunch menu was portioned well and affordable. My waiter Max gave us 10/10 service. Albeit the only thing I would question is the shrimp cocktail. Featuring only a singular jumbo shrimp is a bit lack luster compared to the other steakhouses I’ve been to (I think two would be a perfect portion). Overall, the steak, Monte Carlo potato, desserts and service made up for it. Will definitely come back again! Ps. The Mille-feuille was one of the best I’ve tried in the city.

Awesome. The rack of lamb and Monte carlo potato hit the spot. I also enjoyed an old fashioned as well. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting montreal.

Visited the new location of Moishes, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish! From the moment my friend & I arrived to the moment we were seated, everything was seamless. The Service: Spectacular. Our server provided top-notch attention to detail and made us feel incredibly well taken care of throughout the entire meal. The Food & Ambience: Delicious food, and I absolutely loved the gorgeous new decor. Every little detail has been thought through. It is no wonder Moishes is a true Montreal staple! I will absolutely be back anytime for lunch or dinner. Thank you for a wonderful night!

Delicious meal with fantastic service! Our waiter Alan was amazing and made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend the lobster appetizer, the pepper sauce for your steak and the mille feuille for dessert!

We started with the beef tartare and Oysters Rockefeller appetizers, then ordered the bone-in filet cooked rare+ to share along with the loaded Monte Carlo potato and lobster mac & cheese. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée and even took a cheesesteak to go. I’ll be honest — I was a little nervous at first because there were so many reservations available, but I’m incredibly glad we decided to come. Our server, Antoine, was outstanding and made the experience even better. Between the exceptional service, perfectly cooked food, and overall atmosphere, this was easily one of the best dining experiences — and the best steak — I’ve ever had, and we travel quite a bit. Thank you for making our experience everything we wanted!

Every time I come here, I love it more and more!! Just had my bachelor party and the Staff really know how to make you feel special. This is by far the best restaurant in my favourite restaurant I’ve ever had.

Had a great experience at Moishes! Roman was an amazing waitress — very professional, attentive, and friendly throughout the whole dinner. He made sure everything was perfect and gave excellent service with a great attitude. The food was excellent, and his hospitality made the experience even better. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend asking for Roman if you visit!

It was one of the best meals I’ve had in my lifetime! The pickles, coleslaw and bread are almost enough for a meal and they are delicious! I had the cod and creamed corn. Best ever! My husband had the bone in rib eye. Best steak he’s ever had. Put The Keg to shame! Please open a Moishes in Toronto! We need this!

Stumbled into Moishe's on a quiet Sunday morning before the lunch rush, and the dining room already had that lived-in warmth you only find in places that have been doing things right for decades. The dry-aged ribeye I ordered was textbook - properly rested, beautifully charred on the outside, and pink all the way through without being asked twice. The waiter, an older gentleman who clearly knew the menu cold, steered me toward the house-made pickles as a starter and I was glad he did. If you travel enough to know the difference between a steakhouse that's famous and one that actually earns it, Moishe's is firmly in the second category.

My first visit to Moishes Restaurant did not meet the expectations of the original establishment on St. Lawrence Street. Upon arrival, I encountered an issue with parking. When I parked my car, my wife was not assisted in opening the door. The parking fee was $23, which was not included in the initial charge. The restaurant’s atmosphere was also disappointing. The tables were made of wood without tablecloths, and the chairs were uncomfortable. The service was adequate but unremarkable. My wife enjoyed her rib steak, while I found the filet mignon bone in to be far from the quality of the original Moishes Steakhouse. A significant issue arose when the waiter presented the bill. Instead of displaying the subtotal before taxes, he presented the full total, including taxes. This practice is not only against the law but also against Quebec’s tipping customs. The overall atmosphere was cold and uninviting, and the staff’s demeanour was similarly unfriendly. This experience did not reflect the standards of the original Moishes Steakhouse. It appears to be a standard steakhouse that should reconsider its name. $450 with tip plus $23 valet
