Drinks were nice, the pal4you was refreshing and citrusy. Carbonara pizza was undercooked in half, with one portion of the crust having actual raw bread dough in it. The flavours were there and the ingredients were fresh, growing pains for a new restaurant I presume.

I’m not a huge fan of Italian food as I go to Italy for work. But WOW! I bow my head to the chef, the team, and the gods. I had the carbonara… the bacon crisp and the right sprinkle of cheese. The cocktail I had was called Mulingitover… get it? Summer cocktail…so fresh! Beautiful decor! Excellent lighting. Hospitable and beautiful crew. From what I gather… years of experience from different restos. I loved it… pointe-finale… go before u gotta wait

This place is what Montreal needed .Open everyday all day ; need a bomb coffee in the morning , a quick lunch or a nice dinner date at 9pm they got you and it's not BS every little ingredient is hand picked I love that concept, Menu has everything you need and more . The staff was really hospitable really on point . Recommend 100% . Thanks for everything I'll be back

Found out about this place by driving by and came for lunch. Their menu is primarily Italian with some Japanese inflections here and there. They have a full kitchen, a good cocktail and wine list, and serve coffee to go as well. Whenever a new Italian restaurant opens, I like to order carbonara pasta to test their cuisine. It’s a simple dish, but one that’s shockingly easy to mess up if some small details are sidestepped. Turns out, minnibar’s is one of the best I’ve had. The bucatini is al dente, the egg slurry perfectly creamy and yolky, the guanciale crispy, and the pecorino perfectly judged with freshly cracked pepper to boot. Everything is exactly where it should be, and I highly recommend it. The waiter was extremely nice and attentive and I felt well cared for (though I should note the restaurant was almost empty when I visited); he explained they opened less than a week ago and are still adjusting their cocktails & some of their menu. The Creamsicle cocktail was tasty & definitely reminded me of its namesake. Surprisingly, it was quite spirit forward; my kind of cocktail, but tastes will differ and some may prefer something sweeter. I had a very moist carrot cake with white chocolate for dessert (very good, freshly made in their kitchen) and an americano to go which was smooth with no off-notes & no acidic notes. Lastly, the spot is cute with a nice minimalist/modern decor; it’s well-located within the Finale apartment building. There’s a direct street entrance on Mansfield. I’ll definitely be returning.

I really wanted to love this restaurant especially since we loved the food but the service and treatment left a bad taste in my mouth. From the moment we walked in it felt like we weren’t treated as well as other customers who seemed to be the friends of the owner and got the nicer seats, free shots and quicker and more thoughtful service.

Had the pappardelle de homard and it was easily one of the standout dishes of the night. The pasta was perfectly cooked — thick, silky ribbons that held the sauce really well. The lobster was fresh and generous, not just a small garnish but actually the star of the plate. The sauce tied everything together beautifully rich and flavorful without overpowering the lobster. Every bite felt balanced and satisfying. If you’re going to Minibar, this dish is definitely a must-try.

Just tried out Minibar downtown Montreal and I’m honestly impressed. The vibe is super clean and modern but still feels relaxed enough to enjoy your time without any rush. The food really stood out — their pizzas are fresh with a perfect crust, and the pastas are rich and full of flavor without being too heavy. You can tell they actually care about quality ingredients. And the cocktails? Easily one of the highlights. Well-balanced, creative, and not just your typical menu drinks.
