Love the food. Service is excellent. Might seem like you're not getting much chicken but the pieces are big, perhaps they should've cut them smaller to make it look like you're getting more.

Best food ever! ❤️ It truly felt like having a home-cooked meal in Punjab. 🥹❤️ The moment we started eating, it felt like we were back home, enjoying a meal made with love. The sarson da saag and makki di roti brought back so many beautiful memories of my Nani’s cooking. Nothing beats the taste of authentic Punjabi food that feels like home. If you’re craving a comforting, traditional Punjabi meal, this place is a must-visit! 🫶🏻✨

It was our first time here. We ordered aloo and paneer paratha (Bang-On), Sarso Ka Swag and Makke de roti (Bang-On), Chai (Bang-On), Samosa (Bang-On) and Mango Lassi (Average-Too Sweet, Too many ice cubes). Overall a good experience. Special Mention: Thanks to *Ms. Meet* for such a lovely customer service. She was very helpful.

This used to be one of my favorite Indian restaurants, so I was really disappointed by our recent visit. I don’t know if they changed the chef, but the food was unfortunately very poor this time. My lamb korma was watery and completely lacking in flavor, and my husband’s lamb curry was the same. The dishes seemed overly diluted, as though water had been added to stretch them out. It’s really sad to see a restaurant we once loved go downhill like this. We genuinely feel like we’ve lost a good restaurant.

Very authentic and friendly Punjabi restaurant. Staff let us know the food would take a little longer because everything was being made fresh, was worth the wait! To me that is the sign of quality & passion for making dishes well.

Stinky and expensive. Boiled canned chickpea dumped in masala plus three Naan cost 24$. Forget about dirty and oily environment.

Could you please explain how you found our prices expensive? Your order consisted of one big bowl of chickpeas curry($11.99) and two naan ($3.50 each), bringing the subtotal to $18.99. After applicable sales taxes—which are required by the government and are not kept by the restaurant—the total came to $21.83. Given today’s rising costs of ingredients, utilities, and operating expenses, we work hard to keep our prices fair and competitive. We believe our menu offers excellent value compared to many other restaurants. If a $20 meal isn’t within your budget, we also offer plenty of affordable options. We have combo meals starting at just $15.99, thalis for $13.99, Chana Bhatura for only $10.99, many other delicious choices to suit different budgets. Also, our chickpeas curry were freshly made this morning. We’re also surprised by your comment, as the entire bowl was eaten with nothing left. If there had been any issue with the food, we wish you had let us know while you were here so we could have resolved it immediately. We ensure and always prioritize the quality of the food we serve. Every dish is prepared with the care to deliver a fresh, authentic, homemade taste that our customers can enjoy and can feel like home. Thank you, The owner.

I was in the mood for a delicious dosa this morning; so I decided to stop by Mini Punjab to satisfy the craving. I ordered the plain dosa; which came served with chutneys and some sambar. The dosa itself was great, and the pricing felt entirely fair and reasonable. The sides were a bit of a mixed bag, however. The sambar was okay; but the chutneys left something to be desired. The mint chutney was alright; but I really missed having a classic coconut chutney to go with it. Beyond that, their South Indian menu options feel a bit limited overall. They did not have additions like ghee or podi; and idlis were surprisingly not available before noon. As a huge fan of ghee; I really wish they would offer it as an add-on option on their regular menu. That being said; the visit was still very pleasant. The lady who served me was nice, polite, and welcoming throughout but did seem to speak French or even English very well. It is a good local spot with good potential; and I will definitely be back to sample some of their North Indian specialties!

La dame qui vous a servi travaille habituellement en cuisine; l’anglais et le français ne sont donc pas ses langues principales. Notre employée habituelle à l’accueil, qui parle couramment l’anglais et le français, était sortie à l’épicerie pour acheter quelques fournitures pendant votre visite. Concernant le chutney, nous pensons qu’il y a eu un malentendu. La serveuse a cru que vous demandiez un chutney différent ou plus épicé et vous a donc servi celui-ci à la place du chutney à la noix de coco. Pourtant, nos dosas sont toujours servis avec du chutney à la noix de coco. Nous tenons également à que nous n’offerons pas un vaste choix de plats du sud de l’inde, car notre spécialité est la cuisine du nord de l’inde. Nous proposons néanmoins quelques plats du sud afin de permettre aux Québécois ainsi qu’aux visiteurs de découvrir aussi les saveurs uniques de cette cuisine. Après tout, la cuisine du sud de l’inde fait partie intégrante du riche patrimoine culinaire de l’inde. Nous espérons avoir le plaisir de vous accueillir de nouveau afin de vous faire découvrir davantage de nos spécialités du nord de l’inde et de vous offrir une expérience encore plus agréable. Hands down the best food we ate in Canada. The food was amazing, with great quality and good portions. The host and chef were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We had the chicken thali, veg thali, chai, and chole bhature, and every single dish was chef’s kiss. No gimmicks, no unnecessary fancy presentation, just honest, delicious, home style food. It truly tasted like a home cooked meal. And I have to mention the zucchini sabzi. I never thought I would say this, but it was the biggest surprise and easily the star of the meal. We can’t wait to come back!

My only choice in Montreal 😎, especially because of quality and freshness of food. I would highly recommend pyaaz paratha, salted lassi, Mango shake, shahi panner, saraso de saag maake di roti, chole bhature. Also, I would highlight about nice customer service 😊.

Had an amazing experience at Mini Punjab Restaurant! The food tasted just like homemade food — fresh, flavorful, not too spicy, and not oily at all. We tried the chole bhature, dosa, mango shake, and rasmalai, and everything was delicious. The rasmalai especially tasted fresh and homemade. Highly recommend this place if you want authentic Indian food with great taste and quality!
