Went with a friend on a Wednesday morning and it was both our first times there. The food was fantastic. I got the Millman breakfast with homemade strawberry jam and coffee, she got the grilled cheese sandwich. Everything in the table was fantastic, and there was plenty left over to take home for lunch. Definitely going back over and over!!

Tried multiple times and the experience is very uneven. One time the pancake batter was raw on the edges, the other time chicken was raw under the crust. Their AC is either not working well or turned off, because on the other side of the restaurant its simply boiling hot during the regular summer morning.

Came here twice, first time service was pretty nice. But the second time i got served by a young lady who seemed to have her priorities everywhere else but at my table. She completely focused on every other table, every other clients and even had enough time to chit chat with this one and that one, but had so little time to even stand still to hear me when i was making my choice off the menu. And i can assure you, I didnt ask for much. And funnily enough other clients were white and older. Is it normal to get less of a good service because i am younger and brown? Hmmm… definitely felt like it. Food is not bad, but it feels like someone quickly prepared something in their home kitchen for you. If thats what you’re into then you will be happy but thats not for me, when i go out its to get served properly and fed something i wouldn’t or couldn’t make at home.

Best breakfast spot in the city right here in Verdun :) Food and coffee always top tier and the service is incredible. They really nailed that classic diner aesthetic, but gave it a refreshing modern twist!

Very cute looking diner 1st time in a while where coffee was not included in breakfast option but was a good quality one. The pancakes were nice and fluffy but nothing we had stood out unfortunately. Was fare to good fair and modestly higher price range. Great atmosphere and staff.

Warm welcome, decent portions, and service within a reasonable timeframe. We had the Millman's breakfast and the chocolate chip pancake with beacon on the side. The Millman's was okay but drenched in sesame seed seasoning. The chocolate chip pancakes... only had 3 chips. But the strawberry jam topping was delicious. I ordered a latte and was served a filter coffee with milk on the side (the waitress didn't know what a latte was and informed me that they only had filter coffee). Two slices of bacon cost $5. Overall, it was an okay experience, but not one I'd return to.

Loved our brunch at Millmans. Pancakes were surreal. Caesars were great. The staff lovely. Really had a nice time and will definitely be coming back

Honestly disappointing. They don't have a menu it's actually all written on the wall or "you can see pictures of some plates on our instagram page", that's fine but if your prices are aligned with other brunch places and you expect a tip for the service, then as a customer I expect to have a physical menu or at least a QR code that I can quickly scan. Food is honestly meh, we got a tuna melt and a fried chicken sandwich as well as potatos on the side, the tuna melt was actually cold chunks of tuna mixed with some onions and some dill, it was like eating fresh out of a tuna can but on sourdough bread and the chicken was more batter than chicken and pretty dry overall, portions are generous but that's about it. Hot chocolate was watery, the kind you get at a coffee machine except this one was 5$ and decorated with two marshmallows. I'm trying to be optimistic and see what the whole online hype is about but I just can't. This is the type of place you go to when you're hungry and nowhere else is open or you just happen to be nearby, but if you planned a weekend brunch then get ready to be disappointed! Hope this helps

Everything about Millmans for brunch is perfect. A simple set of offerings. Scrumptious food. Great, fast service. Cozy surroundings. Getting there earlier is better: there is a reason for the lineups! You're in and out in about an hour. We'll be back.

The grilled cheese was incredible! The saltiness of the cheese and bacon was perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the caramelized onions. The sourdough was perfectly toasted as well, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The pancakes however are good but definitely overhyped and overrated. I wouldn’t say they’re the best in town. The big downside though was being rushed to leave 30 min after getting our food. The place was super busy so we understand the time limit. However, we still had food on our plates and we would’ve appreciated a better approach from the waitress on this matter. Maybe tell your customers about the time limit before seating them?

Just an overall strange experience. Came in on a sleepy morning and were the only ones in there. Got the most watery filter coffee i’ve ever gotten in a cafe. The waiter could not say a menu item they eat on the menu despite being there 4 1/2 years. I might start walking out when i hear that from here on out. Only got two sandos. 16$ for a bfast sandwich is nuts compared to whats on the street. a single pancake to split which just had chopped cold bananas on top for their specialty. Dropped 50$ on the meal and was constantly being upsold by the waiter on more items. The sandwiches were also just cold and not cooked w love. just a disappointing find in the neighborhood. felt a bit scammed.
