What guests say about Messorem

Messorem is often described as a must-visit microbrewery in Montreal, with a very wide variety of beers, especially IPAs, smoothie/slush beers, and other highly appreciated options. The atmosphere is generally considered relaxed, friendly, and enjoyable, with a large patio, a spacious indoor area, and a great place to hang out with friends or after a bike ride. The food gets mostly positive reviews as well, with several mentions of pub-style or food truck-style dishes, although a few people feel the food selection could be improved. Note: a few customers reported issues with changing hours or rules, as well as some noise and wait times at certain moments.

Love the vibe here! Their beer slushie is very unique and refreshing. The service is always great. We love bringing our friends here. Everyone we bring ends up loving it too!

Great place, great beer. Only thing is they need a separate line that’s handles people who want to taste test a bunch of things before ordering. Since it’s often very busy and the line is long to order, those who know what they want should have some way of bypassing those who are oblivious to the wait they’re creating for everyone else.

Great vibe, easy to get to for both cyclists and if you’re driving. Lots of beers (20+) mostly IPA’s, but they’re good. Burgers are also pretty good. Lots of seating and always a good vibe.

Stopped by Messorem and had the popcorn chicken poutine with one of their beers. The poutine was good and generous, but for my taste it was a bit too salty. On the other hand, the beer was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the visit. Great atmosphere overall, and I'd happily come back to try more of their brews.

Wow! Superb brewery tap with amazing beers. It helps to be an IPA fan but I'm sure there is something here for everyone. The smoothie sours looked like a good idea in the warm weather. Thanks to Matt from Samara Brewing, Toronto for the recommendation as I had totally missed this place in my holiday research.

It’s a very chill place, nice that you can come with kids and dogs very welcoming and nice vibe, however the drinks are disgusting but honestly I don’t like IPA so if you don’t like IPA I don’t recommend it … wish they offered at least sangria :p

Great bar with a huge, nice terrasse. Bike parking for those riding the canal. Good selection of beer, mostly IPAs but enough variety for every taste. The smoothie beer and slushi beer are both absolutely delicious and refreshing. Basically you can't go wrong with this place.

Awesome spot with a vibrant feel. The beer is amazing and the food is excellent. Service was friendly and spoke English even in a French area (appreciated). Hope I can get back to try more!
