The fire place are mostly broken. We weren't able to stay longer outside due to cold weather.

Great place to bike & beer
This is one of the best microbreweries in Quebec, hands down, and the place is great, next to Canal Lachine (cyclists welcome, with hooks to hang up your bike) with a nice post-industrial lounge vibe... and 30 beers on tap!
We just kicked out from Messorem and won’t be able to watch the game here because we’re with our kid. We were here Sunday with her and a bunch of other kids and on Sunday it was allowed (game was at the same time), today they changed the rules. We planned our whole day to organize to be here early with her, get a table etc, to now have to be kicked out. It’d be more respectful if the rules were always the same and not change by the wants of the owners depending on the mood of the day. Definitely never coming back.
Loved the atmosphere and the beer selection here! It’s a very hip place to hang out. My only complaint is the noise level—the music is cranked up so high that you can barely hear the person sitting next to you. Great for the drinks and the energy, but maybe a bit too loud for a group chat.
Immaculate vibes. Great beer. Long line but worth it
Guys you are clearly making so much money. Hire more staff. C'mon.
C'est la meilleure brasserie!!! Great beer & food, helpful staff. Worth the visit.
Great bar, great beer. Good food. Its an awesome vibe and a fun place to watch the Habs play.
Excellent beer, especially their sours! Their beer slushes during the summer are also highly recommended. Both the fish and chips and popcorn chicken were also awesome.
Summer time is better since the gigantic terrasse is open. But they still have an enclosed area which is heated and offers more sitting space. Food is bar style, so don't expect a grandiose culinary experience, but it is well adapted. I'd see to have the same sauce options for chicken popcorn than the wings, though. Extremely varied IPA style beers and some other good options if IPA is not your forté, like me. They put the hockey games on a big screen when the Canadiens play.
Always a good time, huge selection of beer. The food is excellent as well.
Awesome spot. Great beer, amazing food, wonderful staff.
Come here for the beer, it’s amazing.
Amazing micro-brewery with a vast selection of home brewed beers. They also have some very nicely designed merch. Large indoor space, but the outdoor patio really is what sets Messorem apart. At least a dozen oicnic tables available all year long. They are located at approx 50meters from the nicest bike path in town (Canal Lachine), which makes them a must-stop during a summer bike trip. The ambiance is super friendly, and they accept kids. No reason not to go! Only downside is they dont have table service.
This was our first stop coming to Montreal from the states and it did not disappoint. Walking in the unassuming factory exterior we were greeted with a vibrant taproom and live plants. The bartenders were great to talk to about the different beers. We then tried the buffalo chicken poutine and smash burger neither of which disappointed. Being from New England, Messorem makes hands down the best New England style IPA I have tasted. None of their beers we tried were less than a 4/5. We loved this place so much we came back on our last night in the city and had an equally amazing time. Great place for watching the Habs too! Highly recommend to any craft beer fan coming to Montreal. A++++
Came highly recommended and totally delivered. Was hard to not buy 100 beers to go and all the merch.
Best brewery in the city, especially in the summertime. Food is fantastic pub food and the smoothie beers are incredibly fun.
Beer selection is amazing and very flavourful. I came with a group so ordered the finger food. Recomend the popcorn chicken
Loved the vibe. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Really good IPA beer in the town, very tasty and delicious.
The beer is just amazing, the place is very cool. They could really use some upgrades in the food department though.
Cool, chill vibe! The poutine is *chef's kiss*! I love those beer smoothie things! Or is it the slushie!? Whatever, they're both good! I've gone here in the summer months and it's really fun. I have yet to try it in the fall/winter but I'm sure it's a good time any time of year! Great place for a date or hanging out with friends. And it's dog friendly!
According to Google Maps, this place was open, but that was not true. We came without a car, specifically to relax and spend some time there, and when we arrived the place was already closed. The staff were washing the floors and told us that they were done for the day, even though it was Sunday at 5:20 PM. If you close earlier, please update your business hours instead of misleading customers. Wasted time and ruined plans. Very disappointing experience.
My friends and I came from St. Catherine specifically to this bar at 5:00 PM on January 25, 2026. The staff said they were closing. According to the schedule, they were supposed to close at 11:00 PM.
