As much as I love this place and enjoy the great and unique burgers they make, I am honestly disgusted with the service every time I go there. But what happened yesterday pushed me to finally write this review, hoping the owner sees it and takes this feedback into consideration for future customers, because unfortunately I will not be coming back. I consider myself a regular customer. I drive all the way from Laval to eat there at least once a month. Sometimes we come with multiple couples and kids and easily spend $200-$300. Yesterday while we were eating with the kids, we asked for Mekan sauce to have with the fries. The waiter brought the sauce with no mention at all that it was extra. When we were leaving at the door, the waiter stopped us and spoke to my wife in a very disrespectful way saying we still owe $1 for the sauce and that we needed to pay it, almost as if we were trying to leave without paying. We were honestly shocked. I never thought asking for a regular sauce would be an extra charge, and even if it was, I am more than happy to pay it, but it was never mentioned. What made it worse is that our bill was close to $100 including taxes and 15% tip. I felt disgusted being put in that situation over $1...I mean come on, you can't be that cheap. This is not about the money, it is about respect and how you treat your customers. As a restaurant, you are not only selling food, you are selling the service and the etiquette that comes with it. You definitely lost a loyal customer. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending this place anymore.

We were genuinely surprised to read that you feel this way about our service, as we are consistently recognized by our community for our attentive, welcoming, and professional approach. Statements suggesting this is a recurring experience do not reflect the feedback we typically receive. For clarification, we gladly provide ketchup, mayonnaise, spicy sauce and other condiments complimentary to all of our guests. The Mekan sauce, however, is a specialty house sauce and is listed on our menu as an additional item. If this was not clearly communicated at the moment it was brought to your table, we understand how that may have caused confusion, and we apologize for that lack of clarity. When our team noticed that the item had not yet been settled, they simply followed procedure to close the bill properly. There was absolutely no intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable or accused. We regret that the situation felt that way. Respect is very important to us, both in how we serve our guests and how we support our team. We always strive to provide not only great food, but a positive and professional dining experience. You are missing out if you don't go here. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The ingredients in their burgers taste fresh and each component of the burger has a lot of thought out into it. They have a wide variety of burger options on their menu - all of them are different and amazing in their own way. It's a little pricey but honestly, 100% worth it. They also have their own delivery system (which allows you to order from them directly instead of burning some money through Uber eats/doordash). This place deserves the high rating - little or no chance that you'll be disappointed after eating here.

Best Burger in Montreal, I tried couple of them and my suggestion is “if you want some east Mediterranean burger definitely try Beirut burger “
